Booked a night here with my boyfriend by simply walking in and asking for a room...(prices slightly negotiable). Warm comfy beds, each room has a fireplace, good wifi! But be aware the dinner and breakfast is quite small, really really small portion sizes for a group of 8 people! Also you should note the interaction with the reception women/house keepers...

I stayed here on the third night of the Quilotoa loop. It did the job. I paid $25 but was too tired to haggle so it seems like you can get it for $20 according to other reviews. The room and bed was very nice and included a heater which was very crispy at night. This is what you want...

We stayed in the cabanas for 2 nights. We bargained the price from 50$ to 30$ for 2 people per night including dinner and breakfast (the price is negotiable). The room is big, has 2 queen size beds, dawn blankets, comfy pillows, and a fire place. We really enjoyed the dinner (spaghetti, rise, potatos, chicken, salad, fresh juice, soup) it...

We arrived in quilotoa after 3 days of trekking the quilotoa loop mostly in the rain. We were excited when we got to cabanas because the room looked so nice and they had a wood stove burning in the common room so it was nice and toasty. The lady charged is $20 per person, which was definitely over priced. The...

Although the room was large and the bed was comfortable, we did not enjoy our stay at this hostal. The staff were very rude, unhelpful, and showed a lack of interest in customer service. They initially asked for US$20 per person per night, which they quickly dropped to $15 after a little negotiation. We felt as though they were trying...

Ok, lets start with the good points. After a little bit of negotiation I managed to get a room for myself for $20 including dinner and breakfast. Also, they fired up stove in my room after dinner which made it very cosy. However, and that's a big however, the place is actually terrible. You can tell from many things that...

Warned about the cold nights, we were overjoyed when the boy of the family came around the table at dinner to ask who would like their stove lit. Everyone said yes and all were happy about it in the morning. The bed was comfy (with a down duvet as well), the wifi worked fine, the shower was hot. Cons: dog...

The staff is simply rude, ineffective and disorganized. They have serious communication difficulties. The kids make fun of the guests. The included meals arrive hours later than promised. Quilotoa is very beautiful and touristy but the locals don't seem to know how to handle it.

We arrived in Quilotoa planning to stay in Alpaca next door but it was closed for renovations. The guy from there brought us here instead. On first sight it looked quite good. Room with 2 double beds, private bathroom and a stove to keep you warm at night. The first rate they quoted us was extortionate - $50 a night!!...

In all town the price for a room are not cheap! We found this place and we paid just for the night. They used to sell a room with breakfast and dinner but it s cheaper to eat in the town and pay just for the night. A smiling family run this place, they cannot speak english and you can hear...
