Stayed here one night at the Lagoon. We got a room on arrival because we read a review that said it was cheaper on arrival (wrong) and stayed in a private room with ensuite for $42. The price wasn't that cheap, however included breakfast and dinner. The staff don't speak English but try really hard to help out and appreciate...

We were recommended this place as we were told it was much warmer than the one next door (pachamama). This is true if you ask them to light the stoves in your room... and that may be worth the extra $5 a night if you get cold easily.. We stayed here two nights, which shows you it's certainly a decent...

To give a bit of a background, there was no electricity the night we stayed. Not the hostel's fault though. However, our room was freezing, only electric heaters, the staff was very unhelpful. When we asked where to dry our clothes, the lady just ignored us. That evening we asked for them to turn the stove on in the common...

We spent three nights here, which seemed to be a lot longer than the other guests who stay, hike and go or is it hike, stay and go? I reiterate what other guests have said in their reviews. It does get cold at night and the staff are very diligent - even to gringo guests with no manners! Given that...

While having breakfast today in the hotel dining room, another family joined us. As we moved to a larger table, I inadvertantly left my small briefcase with my iPad and important business docs on the first table. Getting old and forgetful, I didn't realize my loss until we had driven three hours to Baños. I called the hostal and once...

I have stayed here for 1night with two friends. We booked the room directly with hostel.Pretty nice common area where y can chat with other travelers. We got european diner and nice breakfast with yogurt eggs and coffee. Plus big plate of fruit! The lake is really close and this place is alive not like the other hostels around.

In my opinion, this is the nicest place to stay in Quilotoa. Staff was incredibly friendly and warm with us- they gave us good recommendations, were very helpful, and overall made us feel very welcome. A bit pricier (in Ecuador standards, so if you're from the states it's still very cheap), but worth it due to the fact that breakfast...

Perfect for our final stop on the Quilotoa loop, meaning we didn't have to drag our exhausted bodies further round the lagoon. Bit pricier than other places around. Great food. Good wifi. Comfy beds, with option of a fire in the room. Staff were helpful and we paid by card.

The room is nice and is cosy once they light the fire and the location is good but its a small village so any location is good. The staff are quite rude and not accommodating and took up the only warm place in the lounge. The food is not good, we paid for lunch here and had overcooked meat and...

We stayed here one night in a dorm. Overall ok but not the best stay on the loop. I wasn't really keen on the served food, specially since dinner got served 50 minutes late, what hurts after a seven hour hike. A commune area with fire place was would have helper a lot. If I would ever come back to...
