This is my friend Sandy's B&B and it is very lovely. She serves great food and lots of it. It is a place where you can go anywhere and come back for the night to a comfy sleep. Sandy has many ideas for places to visit and is very informative. She does have brochures for many places and things to...

This is a pretty b&b full of memorabilia (maybe a little too full). The sitting room and deck were spacious. As well the breakfast was very nicely made for both of the days we were there. Be sure and ask for a room with the bathroom on the same floor. All bathrooms are outside your room.

An excellent base to see the sights of the Avalon Peninsula. Breakfast is more than adequate. Sandy and Mary provide a nutritious, filling plate. The house has many items which have a story which Sandy is always willing to share. Hospitality is exceptional. Walking distance to Father Troy's Trail. Great deck which provides post card view of Torbay . Set...

I loved staying with Sandy. We had a great time talking to her, she's so much fun. Ask her about her red boots. lol. The room was quaint but I found it rather small especially with suitcases. Also the room was very warm and stuffy at night. There are 3 rooms and only one has the washroom right outside the...

Very interesting B&B with very interesting hostess. Great stay. Room #1 has a great view. Enjoyed sitting on the deck looking out over the Bay with a glass of wine. Quite comfortable. A short drive into St. John's but close to the Trans Canada for day trips. Add to your holiday by staying here.

We spent 3 nights with Sandy. Loved the eclectic comfy home - Sandy & Mary are fun loving, informative & real characters. Rooms were adequate & clean - bathroom on lower level is a little inconvenient. Breakfasts were great. We would stay here again.

A good value and very pleasant stay for a person who enjoys B&B's. Sandy is a great hostess and makes you feel welcomed like an old friend. She is a fount of advice on what to see and how to get there. Also, as mentioned by other reviewers, she is a real character and it's a lot of fun just...

It was a great way to end our visit to Newfoundland. Comfy room and the hostess Sandy was quite a character and fun to talk to. We used the stay to explore the St. John's area. The only drawback was our private bathroom was one floor down in the basement. But it wasn't enough to dampen the enjoyment of the...

We enjoyed our stay at this quaint B and B. Sandy is quite the character with a heart of gold who aims to please! Our room was a nice size and comfortable. Our friends had the smaller room but found it quite comfortable as well. The rooms were spotless. If you have a problem with stairs, tell Sandy when booking...
