This hotel’s location is great. By the beach, bars, restaurants, and grocery store. The staff was polite. Rooms and beds were comfortable. Rooms could be cleaned a lot better upon arrival. Asked twice for housekeeping to tidy up the room and supply us with new towels during our five night stay. Nobody showed up after calling the front desk twice asking for this service. Expect to take out your own garbage and get new towels and toilet paper yourself. Hallways carpets on the 5th floor was dirty. Never was vacuumed during the five night stay. The third floor was nice and relaxing environment. We loved the roof top pool! Did have a homeless person harass the staff. He made it up to the roof top bar and was yelling at the staff. Police and security arrived and they were combing the hotel complex looking for him. Anyone off the street can enter this complex and rooms. There is no security to get to the hotel guest rooms. Overall I would stay here again but it could be better. …
This was the best experience we've ever had at a Choice hotel. Steve, the general manager, was very accommodating for all of our needs. After a very rocky start to our vacation, we were moved to Cambria at Madeira Beach. It was in a great location. It is a newer hotel and very beautiful with great staff. The food and drinks were amazing. We didn't hear any noise from an upper floor or in the hall. We'll definitely stay here again and recommend it to all of our friends.
Hotel seems upscale and is priced as such, but it has a mixed bag of clientele. We encountered quite a few outsiders who came into hotel for the rooftop bar and pool. No outside food or drinks was posted, but coolers were brought in. Large groups of party goers with foul mouths stayed here. Will be difficult to remain upscale if management continues to allow a rowdy vibe.
Steve and staff were amazing and accommodating; Steve gave wonderful suggestions for filling our stay with fun and local flare! Our stay was fantastic! Everything was within walking distance! The roof top pool/ hot tub was phenomenal! Roof top bar and bands great! Very Highly Recommend Staying HERE!
This hotel has a lot of potential! It is located across the street from the beach. It is well decorated with many open areas. A beautiful rooftop pool and hot tub with a rooftop bar with good food and drink. The staff is friendly. Unfortunately, the main issue is an important one when 3 adults are staying in one room. We arrived on a Friday and have a Thursday departure-it is Wednesday and our room has received no housekeeping service during our stay. On check-in we were told housekeeping would come on the 3rd day.., nothing. Finally, we took out our own trash. Then we ran out of toilet paper-got our own roll. ( the toilet paper is very thin and rough so bring your own!) Towels never really dried between showers so finally took some from the fitness center. Eventually got more towels but no one took the used ones. And, yes, we spoke with the front desk and individual housekeeping staff daily. Went to the lobby to watch a game and have drinks—they couldn’t find the remote to change the channel on either of the tvs. Out of cherries, coconut and amaretto so couldn’t make several of the signature cocktails. Couldn’t order lunch at the roof top bar-out of tomatoes, flour and blue cheese which are main ingredients in the apps and flatbreads. Pool cold-heater broken. This resulted in all of the children in the hot tub. The hot tub jets barely work. Pool cabanas are $200 rentals-cushions are stained. The hotel is open to the public-there is no security system in place so the accommodations are accessible—no special key card for the floors with the rooms. …
My husband and I went to the Cambria for our anniversary. Upon arrival, the valet staff was not only polite, but very welcoming. Check-in was a breeze. Every single staff member we met during our stay was accommodating and friendly. The room was clean, updated, modern and beautiful. We had a wonderful view of the water from our balcony. The rooftop bar and pool area was clean, relaxing, and had amazing views from every angle. The food and drinks were both very well prepared and high-quality. My husband and I both tried the nightcap before returning to our room and it was a perfect end to our evening. I would definitely recommend this hotel for any stay, whether it be for a couple, family, or just for yourself. Gorgeous property.
I have too said that’s one of my favorite places to stay with my family, amazing view, food and drinks by the rooftop was really great, i was trying to book again for February 24 and 25 and 1000 for 2 night is out of my budget, im recommend it 100 % if you can afford it
Great hospitality and professionalism from Noel and Liam at the restaurant. Great customer service all around. Rooms were well maintained and close to beach. Valet parking was convenient and rooftop pool and views were spectacular. All in all, great experience
The Embers rooftop grill. OMG the view wonderful. Got lots of sunshine. Excellent drinks, thanks Sam! The food was good as well. Mine Flatbread. So delicious, like small pizza. Definitely will return soon. Will b a great sunset spot. If a guest, the pool is amazing. Would definitely book a stay here if necessary, or coming from out of town.
We were visiting family at Madeira Beach and needed a hotel for the night. The hotelwas right across from the condo our family was staying in, so it was convenient for us. The manager allowed us to look at the room before we booked and was very friendly and helpful. It's a brand new hotel and very well maintained. We had a 2 bedroom with 2 beds in the second bedroom, so the kids loved having their own beds. It was clean and well stocked. I think it would be okay for an extended stay. The layout was nice, lots of sitting area and a table. The kitchen and bathroom were small but okay. We would definitely recommend staying there. We did not utilized the pool because we were across the street at the beach. Parking isn't great as valet but it's a small hotel on a busy street, so it was okay for that. Lots of restaurants around and walking distance to the beach and John's Pass.…
