Being a travel agent for 31 years, you see all sorts of hotels. This one is great. Amazing customer service by Brian, Danielle, housekeeping staff. We had a balcony room and while drinking coffee, there was a dolphin swimming in front of our room. Great location, very clean hotel. Thank you so much!
DO NOT STAY HERE the HOUSEKEEPERS are THIEVES!!!!I don’t go around accusing people of things unless I am positive so it could be someone else who had access to my locked room once we vacated. Stayed in the hotel. Clean, friendly staff and warm pool. Food was fast and inexpensive. I had to file a police report because I took my mom to see Andrea Bocelli in Tampa. We went back to the hotel and I could t fall asleep and me earring were stabbing the back of my neck. I wore them everyday for six years and they were a gift from my grandmother who was not wealthy and worked her butt off her entire life and wanted every grand daughter to have a nice pair of earrings. Once in a while I take them out and leave on night stand which I did that night. I DONT DRINK!! Neither does my mom. Rushed out the next morning to catch my flight and realized they were gone. Now housekeeping only cleans every other day but i left DO NOT DISTURB on the door EVERY NIGHT because there are NO SAFES in the rooms!!! I was afraid of something em being stolen so i left the sign and told the young lady housekeep not to enter the room. On checkout we saw her near the elevators and said ok we are checking out. you’re welcome to go in there now. Spoke to the housekeeping manager and their reply was: “Our staff is great. they wouldn’t steal. We have iphones and laptops and watches here.” So first off, who would steal a phone or ipad? That can all be traced with find my iphone, etc. And they were probably some cheap ass watches. My little diamond studs were the perfect little thing to steal bc they are small and easy to hide. Maybe it wasn’t housekeeping but maybe a manager or someone else who e here’s that room after 10 am with a key.” Following up with the police today!! Like I said i wore those earrings everyday for six years and they were sooooo sentimental from my grandmother and I would even pay the thief just to have them back. I know accidents happen but this wasn’t an accident. Those earrings were left right on the middle of the nightstand!!! Hear some pic of our trip. Me wearing the earrings and when i checked out. NO earrings. Very very sad that people can do this!!!…
I stayed here for work for a few days. The staff was very accommodating. I try to request extra coffee for the room when I check in and they were able to get me all squared away. The parking was well lit and felt safe. I did struggle to find the door to get in upon arrival but was helped right away. Definitely recommend
A really phenomenal Courtyard. Five star hospitality all around. Brian and Brenda at the front desk were kind, warm, and helpful. They really make you feel like a welcome guest from arrival to departure. They provided great detail about the property and local information, recently recognized my Titanium status, and proactively reached out about checkout. Joyce in the bistro was bubbly and helpful. The gentleman working in back worked hard and tended to tables too. I just really can't emphasize how much of a difference this makes. This team could set an example for many of Marriott's five star hotels. Rooms were great, location good for a quiet, simple stay. My only complaint, and this is more about Marriott than this hotel, but the $10 elite F&B can't buy you a coffee and an oatmeal or coffee and cup of fruit here. The prices are a bit silly and $10 hasn't kept up with a basic breakfast either. The grocery a five minute walk away sells a huge variety of cut fruit bowls in various sizes at about 1/5 the cost. That's the route we took. Pros: + the staff! + Beds were comfortable and rooms one of the more updated courtyard layouts. + Rooms surprisingly well kept and 'dry' considering location. + Pool open late + Simple parking Cons: - no housekeeping - super slow elevator …
Great location! Very clean! All front desk staff were very nice. Rebecca the bar tender was a complete delight!! Cant wait to go back! Publix is right door and restaurants in walking distance. Pool is big and super clean
Really great hotel. Clean rooms, polite staff. Beautiful pool area with gorgeous water views. Walking distance to 2 restaurants, 3 if you include McDonalds. Easy Uber access to the beach area and St. John’s Pass. Good cable package but also equipped with internet tv app options.
I had a one night stay here visiting friends and needed a place to sleep for a night. The hotel was very clean, comfortable and had friendly staff. The service was top notch- the bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet. I’d def stay here again when in the area.
For a budget hotel this is very nice. Recently refurbished from what I can tell, rooms smart and plenty of space. The location, although waterfront which is pleasant, there’s nothing else there, so you’ll have to get a cab or drive for food / drinks / entertainment. My only comment would be that the bed was too firm for my liking.
We stayed for a month at this hotel for business in Pinellas County. The rooms are on the small side with a very limited closet space. The bed was crazy comfortable and my request for extra pillow and towels was accommodated quickly. The staff is what shines in this hotel, Brian and Nessie at the desk we’re consistently wonderful and accommodating. The bar/restaurant group is on task and friendly. The pool is very nice, with a nice spa/hot tub that is a nice retreat. Only down side is we tried to reach Jennifer in sales to arrange for a group rate, she was unresponsive to our team lead and more focused on a second property and larger groups. Definitely recommend this property in Madeira Beach
We just completed a stay at this hotel and I had to write and share what an amazing experience we had! Brian (front desk and bar) was absolutely wonderful. He definitely made our trip!! His attitude and smile was a definitely reprieve for us when we showed up at 10:30pm. That guys deserves a raise bc he is so fantastic at his job! There were others who were wonderful too. I didn’t get their names but one was the other (lady) bartender working with Brian at the bar Saturday night and the lady that was working the front desk Saturday morning. We are so thankful for the hospitality shown to our group of 10!!
