Stayed for two nights. Lovely clean cosy rooms fully equipped, even with kettle, tea and coffee. We could come and go as we pleased no matter what hour it was. We had keys to front and back doors and there was private parking to rear of property. Mary was up at 6am to give us our breakfast which was a...

Booked here as attending blues festival in Monagahan. Emyvale was lovely place to be. Nice walks nearby. Mary was so welcoming and provided a super breakfast even with special requests for black pudding on the 2nd morning. Nothing too much trouble and rooms were spacious clean and comfortable. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant

Fergus and Anna provide the warmest if Irish welcomes and went out of their way to make our two night stay exemplary. A luscious green garden for your morning constitutional followed by a great Irish breakfast. Be sure to visit the graves at Donagh

Was looking for a B&B outside and to the north of Monaghan and unexpectedly came across this guest house in Emyvale. It is ideally situated on the N2 which runs from Dublin to Derry in the north. There is off street parking behind the property which was good as I would have been apprehensive about leaving the car on the...

This B&B is nice. It's clean. It's unfortunate that we had to drive for dinner, but the recommendation was good. It's priced fairly, and was what we expected. It does have private parking, which we appreciated.

The warmth and friendliness of Ireland can be experienced here in the lovely B & B. The rooms are immaculate with everything you need for a great stay. The best part is the hostess who goes out of her way to make sure all your needs are met. A great Irish breakfast is provided exactly as you want it. Be...

We just got back from a 5 week European vacation that included 2 nights at the "An Teach Ban" in Emyvale. Of all the places we stayed this B & B was the friendliest and offered the best value. Where many B & B's are started to skimp somewhat on the breakfast this is not the case here. The breakfasts...

Stayed here for two nights in early July while in Ireland to attend a wedding. My room was spotless and very comfortable. Many thanks to Mary who made us feel most welcome and who gave us fantastic breakfasts! A real taste of Irish hospitality

I cant praise An Teach Ban too much. The rooms are lovely and the beds really comfortable. The breakfast was very good and plentiful but more than anything the service was superb. Nothing was too much trouble for Anna or her helper Mary and our stay was made wonderful by them both. We will most certainly be back

Nice B&B. The hosts were extremely friendly. Anne directed us to the next town to have dinner in the castle pub. Our dinner (roast pork was amazing) Castle grounds are very lovely . B&B is easy to find and there is ample parking behind the house. Fergus gave us good directions when we left (heading back to Dublin) so we...
