At first glance, the property seemed a bit nondescript, set on the corner of a rather busy road. But once we entered the gates the setting transformed to a quiet little oasis across from the beach. Service was top notch, the room was gorgeous and luxurious (Indian River Room), the breakfasts were absolutely delicious, as were the cookies (available all...

This place is a little gem, sitting on an unremarkable corner facing the ocean in Melbourne beach. Inside, the welcome is warm and genuine; our room, 'The Windward Suite' was fabulous. We joined with the other residents for the happy hour with wine and nibbles courtesy of the Port'D'Hiver. After the madness of Miami or Orlando, this is a wonderful...

On our way from Amelia Island to South Florida, we spent just one night here, but would love to come back and stay longer next time. The location is fabulous, right across the street from the beach and across the street from the absolutely wonderful Ocean 302 Bar and Grill (a must do for a unique, delicious and well priced...

We spent 3 nights here with one adult child along with us from Pennsylvania. Future in-laws live several blocks away. The Creole room was awesome- modern bath, comfortable mattresses, top-drawer sheets, and tended to very nicely by staff. Location was ideal to head to the beach; and towels, beach chairs, coolers, snacks, water, soda, beach umbrellas, and even a pro-Kadima...

This is a hidden gem in Melbourne Beach. A relaxing, easy seamless weekend!. With one phone call, we made perfect dinner reservations with local restaurant, booked a couple's massage in our room, and a cooler with beer/cheese,crackers and fruit for us to go to the beach. The Inn is beautiful and inviting. We enjoyed the evening socials and fabulous breakfasts,...

Where do I start! The hospitality and genuine overall ambience was outstanding. This family run business has been perfected in so many ways. The food, service, accommodations, beach, and just everything I haven't mentioned, are top notch. Smiles and service, along with those gorgeous gold embroidered, ironed sheets. What can I say. . .we've already made reservations to visit again...

My wife and I drove for a night away from the kids. We loved the Port d'Hiver! The service was excellent, and everyone was extremely friendly. We at at a restaurant called 302, which was 1 block away and an easy walk, and had one of the neatest meals we have had in a long time. We then walked back...
