We had a wonderful return visit a few days ago. We stayed this time in the Yellow Room, which was most pleasant. Last year we stayed at Havana Room. Just as lovely. We found the staff to be most warm and welcoming. Kay,the staff during the social hour, was very interesting as was daughter Jade. For breakfast we had the sample...

If you find yourself near Melbourne Beach, Florida, you will not be disappointed in a stay at the Port d'Hiver. Without question the cleanest room you will ever experience. But that just scratches the surface. The friendliest staff and most wonderful food one could ever imagine. I've never stayed for pleasure, rather business trips, but they never feel like business....

I used to travel alot for business and sometimes felt bummed to be staying in another hotel again, so for me to hear that you have enjoyed your business travel stays is such a compliment! We do like to cater to our business travelers when possible with a early morning coffee and newspaper service, easy late check-ins, free wifi, delicious...

Most delightful facility maintained at the highest level of cleanliness and supported with the most friendly staff. The inner courtyard offers a distinctly separate oasis from everything outside - totally relaxing with the "big pour" wine and snacks in the evening while sitting on front of the outdoor fireplace. We have stayed in many B&Bs, and this is definitely the...

Each of my family members carries the "OCD Clean" gene and love to make sure everything is spotless, so you just made our day... or even year! Thank you! Doesn't a spring cleaning always feel so good? Hopefully next time you come, we will have a few surprises in store with regards to our outside beautiful landscape and outdoor "oasis...."...

Sounds like you have our same eye for detail! We love the charm and character that comes with historic buildings, but we firmly believe they still must be maintained well and everything super-clean! I'm so happy we didn't miss the mark! Although our rates can seem expensive at times, like you said, you're not only paying for the unique experience,...

We never miss an opportunity to spend a couple of nights at our favorite B and B. This year we took advantage of a special they were running on the Mangrove room, and now I want to live there. I've always said I wanted to stay in all 10 rooms, but now I'm not sure. I just loved this room....

Wow! Your compliments are so nice - thank you! It is true - the Mangrove Suite will spoil you. As you know well, it is our largest room, complete with a separate living room, king size bedroom, and large walk-in bathroom with Whirlpool tub.. all-in-all the room has 3 TVs! And who couldn't love the private and romantic garden bridge?...

I stayed in the Yellow room which I loved. My parents in the Havana room felt the same way. Very friendly and helpful staff, complements to the chef on the breakfast! We'll be back very soon. I have nothing bad to say about the experience.

Thank you for writing a review from the "traveling family's" perspective - we get lots of calls asking about accommodations for couples or adult family vacations. We are happy to set larger tables for groups during breakfast - speaking of which, I'm happy to hear your's was delicious! I will pass the compliments on to Libby and Suzette. Thanks again...

This is the most fabulous place at the beach! Everything is top notch. The people, the rooms, the breakfast AND the cookies they have waiting for you on arrival. Make sure to purchase the cookbook to take home with you!

THE COOKIES! They never get old or less addictive - take it from someone that's been eating them for 10 years...:). It's so nice to hear that everything was top notch and I hope you've put your cookbook to good use - family members are always great guinea pigs! Hope to see you again soon!

Our stay at this B&B was a terrific experience. I wish we were there longer than 2 days! The B&B is located just across the road from public access to Melbourne Beach. The grounds and several building on the property are fenced in providing a wonderful courtyard and secluded feel. The courtyards have a spa pool, water features and fountains,...

We spent 6 nights here early November and had a wonderful time. The property is wonderful as are all the staff, and the food it out of this word!! Nothing was too much trouble and every effort was made to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. There is nothing I can suggest that could be improved.

I am constantly asked about "extended stays" and whether or not our property is suitable for that kind of vacation - of course we think it's great, but I'm so happy to hear that you also think that it was out of this world. Even though you can't think of any, I'll try to come up with some improvements here...

One of my very favorite things about the Inn is getting to meet people from around the world - just like you! Since we have an intimate atmosphere with small common areas, it's the perfect place to mingle during breakfast and wine hour. I'm glad you had a nice time. Hope to see you again soon.
