An awesome experience and display of hospitality. As a Hilton Diamond Member I have stayed at numerous Hilton establishments, this facility and staff are definitely one of the best nationwide. One of the most significant characteristics of the staff is customer service. They are the epitome of such.
We stayed here pre cruise. I can’t say enough about this hotel! The staff here are extremely friendly and go above and beyond. We arrived earlier then expected due to a flight change. When we arrived at the hotel I wanted to see if they would just hold our luggage until check in time so we can explore. To my surprise they had a room ready for me and checked us in. I was so delighted! We had an issue with our toilet and maintenance was there to fix it in 5 mins. The hotel is very clean and our room was spacious. We had a view of the port from our room! It’s in walking distance to Publix to get some last minute cruise essentials. Also close to some restaurants. We will definitely stay here again next cruise!
As Hilton diamond members, I thought the staff could have been nicer and the food better. The menu for the restaurants is priced differently than the app used in the room. This felt like a bait and switch. The staff was unhelpful. They told us we had to call in the morning to find out if we could have a late checkout. We were able to secure one but it’s annoying to call twice. Unimpressed and will stay elsewhere.
This is at best a 3 star hotel - room is very dark, very tired and dirty - duvet are thin and cheap - 2 items on the room service menu for entrees - heap soap for shower - no hot water in the shower - dirty box springs is one of the many place where the filthiness in the room is showing - the lobby is a zoo (I get it, it’s Miami) but just be aware that you basically feel like you are walked into a train station…if that doesn’t both you then fine Without exaggeration, this is probably the worst hotel experience in the last 5 years especially when considering the $650 room rate but I would have felt equally as uncomfortable in the hotel and the room had I paid $300. Look elsewhere…
Beware if your room isn’t ready to pay to have your luggage stored. Bring your own toilet paper and Kleenex because you theirs is supper thin and scratchy. I could hear the traffic outside, bring earplugs if you are light sleeper.
i was invited in this hotel for a congress. The meeting room was comfortable and good equipped. The staff was very helpful. We had coffee-break and light lunch, the food was good and the service as well.
At the last minute, the Marriott moved our event to the Hilton Miami Downtown, and I'm glad they did. - Their meeting planner called me the night before with meeting details - Friendly welcome from the valet staff - Front desk instantly produced everything I needed - Meeting room was set perfectly. AV was ready to go - Excellent breakfast and coffee. Served on time - Sellis took amazing care of us. She's awesome - Staff frequently checked in to ensure everything was OK I enjoyed doing business here.
Check in was horrible they were stuck on the reservation was in my husbands name not mine. ID & address matched credit card on fine was in my name & presented. Sat there for 20 minutes while they verified with no offer of water or cocktail. Room cleaned every 3 days with no replenish of coffee water or towels. Conceriage was of no help. Room was adequate clean mostly . Free Hilton honors breakfast which was promised at reservation was a no go with no explanation. Breakfast off menu was great & waitstaff was superior. Buffet which was very expensive was inedible!!!! Lobby was beautiful & no problems with elevators. Pool was beautiful.
This hotel has an excellent location. Used their Park and Go which allows parking and the use of a shuttle to the cruise port. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Great value. Close to shops and restaurants.
Highly recommend this hotel for business or leisure. Clean, great location, safe with a VIP feeling. This will be my hotel of choice when visiting Miami. Great views, nice outdoor seating for breakfast or cocktails. Valet $45/night (a little high)
