Pulling up to the hotel, we noticed how small the parking lot was. You either got a spot, ended up making your own spot or risked getting a parking ticket elsewhere. Check-in was fairly easy. Our room was upstairs but hardly a walk. The room was a nice size however it was very hot initially because they kept the vent... More

Was very cheap so don't expect an expensive stay! Rooms/bathrooms a bit tatty, parking very tight and limited, quite noisy - earplugs supplied by the bed are a hint! The staff were friendly, rooms and pool area were clean. Basic stay and is priced accordingly!

We were looking for a place to stay in Miami for three nights without breaking the bank and found the New Yorker Hotel! The hotel offered us with affordable accommodations on a main thoroughfare in Miami. The room was clean and had a small fridge, hairdryer and toiletries. We could hear our neighbors but they were fairly quiet so it... More

The hotel is located fairly close to a train track, so you do hair trains tooting their horns throughout the day and night (the hotel provides earplugs). Also the walls are Somewhat thin as you can easily hear the neighbours (both above and to the side). The hotel has undergone renovations, but these were done on a budget and the... More

Desperately needs an upgrade and fresh paint inside and out! Overall clean room. Continental breakfast, ok. No cable. Nice location minutes from South Beach. The room is small, bathroom smaller. You could shower off your feet while sitting on the toilet, really! Always keep in mind, "you get what you pay for!"

Great little hotel comfortable and clean rooms. Still got that Art Deco style to it, bit outdated. A/C not available in the room. Breakfast very rudimentary. Good hotel for somebody who needs a place to sleep while discovering Miami. Tours can be booked straight at the front desk.

The room was clean but everything was battered and much-used. In the bathroom the paint peeled from the ceiling. The window and door need better insulation against the noise from the street! The outdoor patio for breakfast was nice The guy at the reception was lazy and unhelpful. It was ok to stay for one night.

From the name I was expecting something better. I really liked the style but everything is so old and dirty. They really need to renovate it!!! The garden aerea for the breakfast was nice but the first day, as it was raining, we couldn't use it.
