Great property, best location, courteous staff and huge rooms by all standards. The bathroom was luxurious. No delay in check in or check out. Very close to the airport. Only issue was non availability of English Breakfast Tea Sachets as everyone does not drink care. Other than this all perfect.

Arrived, checked in, gave keys, went to room. It was fully dirty, wet towels on floor, unmade bed, dirty classes, garbage etc. - called to alert front desk from room, was told, “I’ll send housekeeping up” - I replied “I need a different room, I do not have time to stand around while I wait for housekeeping to come up and clean the entire room” - person on phone says “ok, I’ll let them know” - I head back down to front desk, they were entirely unaware of the issue, so I retell the situation and then they apologize and give me a new room. Then the following day, I realize when they asked for my card upon check in (even though my corporate card is already in my profile) I provided them with my personal card on accident. I went ti the front desk and explained I needed them to change the card to my corporate card. I swiped my corporate card in the card reader and was told there would just be a “hold” on both cards, but they would make a note to ensure the proper card was charged. - Now I am home a day after check out and my receipt that was sent in email, charged my personal card! I called them 8 hours ago and the front desk manager “was not at her desk and would return my call when she got back” - NOPE, no one has called!!! Additionally, I watched two prostitutes walk through the lobby at 7AM and no one at the hotel batted an eye!! Will not return here and I am still waiting for them to charge the proper credit card. I’m too busy to deal with this as a professional who travels all the time!!

Have stayed here before and once again enjoyed our stay for the most part. Arrival was smooth: bellhops very helpful; front desk personnel friendly and efficient; room upgraded to suite on high floor but not ready until 1 PM (still early vs. 4PM policy); lunch in on site restaurant Boulud Sud was excellent; suite was spacious, quiet and had good view of downtown. Some disappointments: A/C noisy and came on every 7 minutes running for just 2 minutes; no closet in bedroom (it's in hallway); coffee machine in lounge out of service; furniture in suite uncomfortable and stained; shower floor slippery; concierge less than helpful. On balance, great location and will return next time in Miami.

It is a upscale modern entrance with friendly front desk staff and exceptional concierge customer service. However we were highly dissatisfied with our Bay suite room, so much so that we had to come downstairs to request another room that wasn’t outdated and furniture, dilapidated. The floor had stains, some ketchup , some white stains, and they were crumbs in between the couches. The living room center wood table was visibly and expansively warped. The mini kitchenette was not clean, and it was clear that either this room was not properly prepared or it and had no attention given to it. For the value of how much we spend, this hotel needs to purposely invest and the upkeep and modernization of its rooms. This is not something you would expect from Marriott, far less a JW. Also in using the Bon boy app on one of the days I requested our vehicle, 20 minutes later I went down and the valet stated that they had not gotten any request? I went inside to speak to Andres who was impeccably nice and genuinely cared about the issue. He made an attempt to correct the issue. The restaurant is beautiful and the food is wonderful, but we were highly dissatisfied with the rooms. Bathroom was not clean and had soap scum where you put the shampoo and other products to rest. Toilet seats wobbled and were not sturdy and the tile had watermarks stains.

Apart from taking a holding amount from the credit card at check-in when they said they wouldn’t …. all was great at the hotel. It was a lovely room, comfortable bed, good breakfast and great location. Best was the excellent gym with amazing views over the city!!

Property is centrally located in the heart of downtown Miami BUT on a one-way street that gets jammed easily with traffic so prepare for the chaos. The rooms are dated as other travelers noticed. And a light must smell in the hallways. Overall, the place could use a renovation. On the update, the rooms are HUGE - definitely space for a crib or rollaway bed if needed. And the staff was exceptionally friendly. A Whole Foods is conveniently located a block away so you can grab food or forgotten toiletries with ease.

The hotel is nice for a business trip. Situated in the busy robust town of Brickel, Miami, priced right with 3 restaurants. Walking distance from many amenities. Parking is available by the valet with minimal street meter parking. The staff is very professional and Victor our waiter provided excellent service.

This is the first time I’ve ever felt the need to write a review. We’re Gold Elite status so we stay at Marriott hotels every trip we take. It’s sad to report that this one was the most disappointing, especially since this is supposed to be one of their more elite properties. The staff were very friendly!! The issues are with the room. First, there was NO toilet paper & the toilet does not flush. We had to take the lid off the toilet tank & work with the parts to get it to flush. The remote to the tv in the bathroom had gunk caked in every button. When I cleaned it off with rubbing alcohol and tissues, the tissues were BLACK! All staff explained how to mini bar works and what’s included…. It was completely empty! LOL!!! I took a video to make sure we don’t get charged for any missing items and reported that to the front desk. There is no mini fridge or microwave in the room. We had to request a fridge. I have food allergies & travel with my own food so I didn’t think I’d have to request this since it’s generally a standard amenity in even the cheapest of hotels. We also requested a late check out. Housekeeping walked into our room twice AFTER we told them we had a late check out. Both times they just walked in the room without knocking. We will not stay here again.
