Very clean hotel. Waiter in dining room brought check and basically wanted 20% plus 18% service charge for his tip. 38%tip! We needed change and were told to go ask the parking valet. Desk chair in room was broken, shower door didn’t close tightly and water got all over. People at the front desk were very unfriendly. We did ask to see a manager to express our concerns, but it didn’t do any good. Our first and last time staying at this hotel.
Jonathan at the front desk was incredibly graceful and attentive!! He went above and beyond to assist with all requests, and truly helped make our stay memorable. Great amenities, trendy room, quiet location for being in the city.
Hey Mello, thanks for helping out with the early check-in. I had a long flight from Los Angeles and you save my day! Thanks 😊 Can’t wait to explore the city. I’m going to also check out the BRICKELL City Centre mall like you told me.
The location was fantastic but there were a lot of glitches. When me and my two business partners checked in, they had rooms available for them and not for me. One partner’s room had no a/c and had to get a new room. Some issue with the computer wouldn’t allow me to charge bar, restaurant charges to my room. I had to have someone come to my room to fix the toilet twice. The rooftop bar was supposed to open at 5p. We sat in the bar until 5:40p before someone arrived. It was just unorganized and always something going wrong. Staff were nice and helpful but also seemed put out at times.
Central to big name businesses and the upscale Brickell Shopping Center. Long wait for 24-floor elevators. Newly renovated. Barn door to get into bathroom is clumsy and heavy. Water pressure is excellent as it temperature. Toiletries just so-so. Valet parking for $30 a day is mandatory (no self-parking). Walked to nearby delicious cafe for breakfast “I Think She Is.”
The front desk staff are not accomodating at all, the phone in the room didn't work so we had to go down to the front desk every time something was wrong (and there was A LOT wrong), the staff didn't fulfill requests made ahead of time like we asked. For example, two months in advance we asked for a bottle of Veuve Cliquot to be in our room when we got there, but it was not. We said something to the front desk staff and they said they would take care of it. We waited an hour and a half and nothing happened so we went downstairs and ate at Mosaic. After dinner we came back up to the room to find a $15 bottle of rose in the room. It was a slap in the face considering it wasn't even the right type of champagne!! Also, there were not Aveda products in the bathroom like pictured on booking.com, hot water didn't work in shower unless you turned the hot water faucet on in the sink, there was a yellow stain on one of the shower towels, dinner server was horrendous and it took an hour just for our pizzas to come out (we spent $250 on two personal pizzas, two appetizers, and a couple glasses of wine), hardware in the bathroom was broken, and the bedframe was much bigger than the actual mattress so we kept hitting our shins on it every time we tried to walk around the bed, and twice our room keys stopped working and had to go back down to the front desk to get them replaced.…
My brother and myself stayed here the end of December to watch yet another Clemsoning of Clemson against the better coached Tennessee Volunteers, and celebrate a resounding 31-14 humbling of the “Great” Dabo Swinney at the hands of Josh Heupel and Tennessee’s backup quarterback. Indigo was a great experience, beautiful property, incredibly friendly staff and an excellent location. Walking distance from numerous great bars and restaurants, bay front park, a Publix, and a multi level multi block shopping mall. This will definitely be a place I check out anytime I’m making a Miami trip.
The front desk staff was extremely attentive and handled requests in a timely manner. I stayed in a suite with 2 queen beds. The room was well appointed. The lighting could have been a bit better but otherwise I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I used the gym a few times. Nothing fancy but had all the necessary equipment.
Had a wonderful stay here after an absolute nightmarish AirBnB experience. I initially booked an AirBnB for my stay from Tuesday, June 7th to Friday, June 10th. Let the owner know that I would be arriving late, which he said was OK. Arrived even later (probably around 11:30 PM) than expected due to a flight delay, but was able to check in and get into the room. Room smelled like smoke, was not as pictured, and was filthy. After contemplating a bit with my girlfriend, we decided to file a complaint with AirBnB, get a refund, and go elsewhere. Long story short, the owner called me directly and wished that I "get what's coming" for me, and refused to give us a refund (which I ended up getting after a dispute). But enough about that. I called several hotels in the area, and none would accommodate us this late into the night (it was around 2 AM now), except for the Hotel Indigo. When we got there, we were greeted by a gentleman named Romello who was kind, gracious, and helpful. He welcomed us to the hotel. upgraded us, and gave us some sight-seeing and activity suggestions while he checked us in. Off the check-in alone, we were both relieved to finally have somewhere to rest our heads and impressed with Romello's masterclass in customer service. The room was clean, comfortable, and modern, and the hotel is close to restaurants, grocery stores, and anything else you might need during your stay. The restaurant downstairs had some great food as well. All in all, this was a 180 from the AirBnB experience that we had, and I'm glad we chose to stay at the Hotel Indigo.…
Check in was easy and the staff arranged for us to check in 3 hours beforehand rather than leave our bags with reception. We even got an upgrade. Service was impeccable! Jewell looked after us each time we went for breakfast, being the epitome of American service that we hear is the hallmark of American hospitality. Drinks at the bar were more than generous and well priced; dispelling the myth all hotel bars mark up considerably. Great view and positioning of the pool! Perfect water temp! Great location within walking distance to Brickell shopping, the PeopleMover and the Metroline. It just confirmed to us it was a wise decision to change our hotel from Ft Lauderdale to Miami! Thank you for everything Mark & Keith
