Very nice resort. Not much close by but driving within a mile you will find restaurants and Dolphin Mall not too far away and it's a must see for shoppers! The resort has just enough to do. Swimming pool, ping pong, exercise classes, workout facilities,...More
We spent 3 weeks at the Marriott Villas at Doral starting January 25, 2016. All units are 2-BR units, very clean, kitchen well-stocked with all utensils needed to cook several meals, beds quite comfortable. Over the 3 week period our children and grand-children joined us...More
We had to check out the first day because there was no way that you can stay here for many days and call it a vacation. Its not cheap and there's only a average pool and really nothing else. At $350.00 a night there better...More
We enjoyed our stay here. The villas are nice, comfortable, and overlook a lake. We had a few issues with our refrigerator but the staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. We enjoyed our dinner at the Cuban restaurant (they go every Monday...More

Reasonably easy, yes. You have to remember that Miami is a big, thriving city with LOTS of traffic. Depending on the time of day, it takes approximately 25 to 30 minutes to drive from Marriott Villas at Doral to the beach or to downtown. We didn’t find that unreasonable. We used the GPS on our cell phones and didn’t get lost. Parking in downtown Miami can be a challenge but the concierge, Marcella, is very good about helping to guide you and can answer all your questions. She recommended some very good restaurants, too. Good luck and have fun!
