Due to weather, we had to change our flight down to Miami last minute. Weren't many options booking a hotel so late without breaking the bank. Decided on this one due to proximity to the airport. Overall, it's pretty decent. Clean and tidy, not too much noise from the airport. We stayed in 1103, which had a nice view of the lagoon and the airport, the kids enjoyed watching the planes land and take off. A couple of things that knocked off a couple of stars. 1. The AC unit in this room is !LOUD!, I can almost feel the room shake whenever it kicks on or off. 2. The pillows are super flimsy, not firm at all. I didn't have the best sleep due to the above reasons, and I mean, that's what it really boils down to isn't it? Feeling rested in a hotel room? Anyways, a small tip: There is 2 floors of parking, upper floor is uncovered, and lower floor is covered garage. As you head toward the parking entrance, take the one further from you, it will lead down to the covered garage.

I travel for business across the country and this Hampton Inn & Suites has many advantages: location near the airport, safe and free garage parking, truly super clean, spacious, quiet, updated rooms and outstanding hotel staff! There is a shopping plaza including restaurants and a supermarket right across the street. We stayed here 3 nights and had breakfast at the hotel every day. Nora worked in the breakfast area in such an organized fashion it was fast and easy to get what you wanted to eat and feel safe! The front desk team, Jennifer, Front Office Manager, and Julissa, Sales Coordinator, were awesome! Jennifer made checking in fast, fun and easy! She shared great suggestions and advice regarding places to visit and eat. It makes such a difference when the staff really cares about the guest experience and leads from the front like Jennifer does! She is a Rockstar! Heads up, the Wi-Fi speed was not up to Hilton standards during our stay. It was way too slow. The hotel staff shared they are currently working on improving that and have contacted their Wi-Fi provider. We will be returning to this location on our next Miami trip.

Incredibly helpful and thorough staff - Yazdi and Lucas went above and beyond to help me locate an important lost package. Front of house staff was very accommodating, as well. Also very clean and comfortable rooms.

This was the first of 10 stays (6 Hilton properties; 4 B&Bs) during a recent US trip. It was the best of many nice Hampton Inns we've seen. We were upgraded to a suite, and, unlike many older Hampton Inns, this one was truly a suite, with a very nice kitchenette and a separate bedroom. Everything felt both new and clean. The stay started with the shuttle ride from the airport. After going to a marked hotel shuttle location at MIA, I called the hotel and learned that we should go to another spot, and that the shuttle only ran hourly. We were pleased to find the shuttle waiting when we got to the door 21 location, and it immediately departed with us, nicely stopping at our original spot to find other riders to the hotel. We quickly checked in and went out walking to find many convenient stores and restaurants nearby. The next morning, I wanted to use the "business center" to do some printing, only to find a hotel guest hogging the one computer. I recommend the hotel add another computer somehow. No problem for us, as the friendly people at Reception took our emails and printed what we needed. We left after one night, and the departures apparently exceeded the shuttle capacity, but Reception nicely arranged and paid for several Lyft rides. That was especially good for us, as the Lyft took us directly to the airport rental car center. Special thanks to Front Desk Manager, Jennifer Guillen and her super helpful staff.

Not again. Why? They use Plastic Plates, Cups, Knifes ect. in the Breakfast area. Super ridicules in 2022. I ask the guy at the front desk about sustainability. “Don’t know what you mean” To change the Invoice address from my private one to the company one, “not possible anymore sir” The room was good - good bed, a lot of space and clean. The bathroom and shower are clean and compfy as well.

Our travel to Miami was interrupted by weather delays, causing my family of 5 to miss connections and be rerouted. We ended up in 4 states and traveled over 13 hours for what should've been a 5 hour trip. Needless to say that with three young kids under 7, it was a very long day. Upon arrival to Miami Airport we took an Uber and ended up at the wrong hotel near the Hampton Inn. I called the Hampton and spoke with Francis. While he was unable to send their shuttle, he did call a Lyft for us and covered the cost to travel 1 mile to the hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel, Frances had some light snacks and bottled water waiting for my family. This was around 1am in the morning. Frances was also able to provide us with an upgrade to a Suite at no additional charge. Beyond this, Francis was so warm and welcoming to our tired family. He noticed an opportunity to turn a tough day into a brighter ending for a young family with excited cruise travelers. We intend to take future cruises out of Miami and will plan to stay at the Hampton Inn Miami Airport - Blue Lagoon

My family and friends stayed pre cruising and returned after our cruise. The staff went above and beyond accommodating all our needs!!! I have never stayed at a hotel that was so accommodating. I like that they provide a nice breakfast and an evening cocktail with food. The hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly. They provide breakfast and an evening cocktail hour with food. I will stay here again in the future and will recommend to others. Thank you for taking care of us!!!

Spacious updated suites close to MIA airport. Quiet - no noise from airport. Comfortable sleep. I was impressed by the look, comfort and cleanliness of the hotel. Walking distance to several fast food restaurants and two 24 hour pharmacies made it quite convenient to grab a bite or pick up a few items. Service excellent. Limited Gluten free options for breakfast on the morning we were there e.g. boiled eggs and fruit. The breakfast staff could not verify if the scrambled eggs and ham and potatoes were gluten free. I had emailed beforehand to enquire but didn't receive a response. We booked the shuttle back to the airport but it left before the appointed time. However, the front desk staff called a ride share which got us there in a timely manner complements of the hotel. We would definately stay at this hotel again while in transit in Miami.

Great location and value for money. Room very clean and staff friendly. AC was noisy and bed wasn’t very comfortable but overall I would visit again. Breakfast was average - 2 hot items, waffle iron, fruit, cereal and oatmeal. Good secure and free parking on the lower level

We picked this hotel because of the reviews and while there is always someone with a less than good experience..the majority was positive and the important points like friendliness, cleanliness as was location and amenities were what we needed. I was nervous about traveling alone internationally with my daughter who had mobility issues and had emailed the hotel prior to our stay to ask questions about the shuttle. We were using the hotel pre- and then also post-cruise. Jennifer, the General Manager replied with all the important info to help us out. We arrived at the Miami Airport and were somewhat overwhelmed when we hit the outside area. I left my daughter inside with the luggage to figure out where we needed to go for the hotel shuttles. It consisted of crossing a few rows of traffic. I got there to ask another guy looking for his shuttle and he said..I think you just missed that one. He was so kind and called the hotel for us. They said that because my daughter was not mobile..they wanted us not to have to wait another hour for the next shuttle and said to take a cab (we don‘t have lyft or uber) and they would reimburse us. We were soooo happy to finally make it to the hotel and were greeted with a big friendly smile from Alvaro Valarezo who said he was happy to finally see us. We had been upgrade to a suite (which was so wonderful since we were there for 2 days and made making some meals for ourselves). We were on the 8th floor and as I had requested it was in a quite area. You could hear the street when the traffic was strong, we hardly heard the airplanes. At night though, no traffic noise at all. The suite was clean and spacious. The breakfast was great..parts of it actually changed daily. My daughter was thrilled that you can still make your own waffles. (Last time we stayed around Tampa in Florida, our hotel had gotten rid of that since Covid). I guess the thing I was missing most was peanut butter…nothing like a toasted bagel with PB and J…they only had Cream Cheese and 2 types of Jelly (one was sugar free) and butter to spread on items. I might have also enjoyed sausage links or bacon…they had a really good western omelette the first morning, I could not believe I had 3 of them. I know they don‘t cook this stuff there, but I don‘t expect that. We did try the pool, they have pool towels there but it was very windy and the water was cold..the hot tub was blocked off..so we did not really swim but laid on the lounge chairs to catch what every sun rays we could. The pool area needs some renovation sooner than later. I was pleasantly surprised when on our second evening, there was a „Happy Hour“ in the breakfast area. They had quite the spread too. A wonderful chilled white wine (I am not a fancy wine person so who knows the quality) that I really enjoyed. More than just salsa and chips too. I was also able to meet Jennifer in person and thank her for all the help so far and the upgrade. She is a very pleasant, friendly person. Anytime Alvaro was there, it was like meeting family—he took care of you. They got us on a 3rd party shuttle to the port. We naturally returned for 1 night after the cruise. Neither Alvaro nor Jennifer were there…we were just really happy that they let us check in early. But I knew as soon as we got to our room, that I was not going to be able to sleep there. It was in a high traffic area, it was right at the elevators and also had a connecting door to the next room. This was like having other people in your own room in terms of noise. As if there was no door at all..and then the door slamming.. all the talking at the elevators. When we returned from the Publix across from the hotel…I was so happy to see Alvaro at the desk and he remembered me right away! He totally understood and was able to give us a room away from noise. We would have been thrilled with another suite but we had the normal king room and it is very, very spacious..but when we ate…we did so in the bed instead of at a table. No biggie. On 3 floors they have a coin operated washer and dryer. One of the amenities I was looking for. As I mentioned…there is a Publix and small strip mall across the street, next to the hotel. Then across from the hotel are a CVS and Walgreens…there is a Wendy‘s, Burger King…and behind the hotel a Panda Express, Starbucks, Chipotle…and a few more eateries. All totally within walking distance, even for my daughter on crutches. Sadly, the Burlington could have gotten more of our money if they had not blocked off the dressing rooms (probably because of labor shortages). We were allowed a late checkout and were able to get the shuttle to the airport all without a problem. I think I covered everything— I am glad we stayed here pre- and post-cruise. A big shout out and Thank you to Alvaro, Jennifer and her team.
