I just had an extremely unpleasant experience here with the front deck staff - name Thuiman. My boyfriend and I are spending a week in Miami, staying at Arlo. This noon I requested for house keeping before I left the room. When I got back around mid night I found out the room was not cleaned yet and we don’t have any clean towels in the room so my boyfriend went to the front desk for some clean towels. (Phone in the room never worked). The front deck person Thuiman told him to wait for 40 mins for the towels because he was the only person working at night. So he waited in the lobby while Thuiman was doing nothing and refused to help. After 40 mins, still no towels so my boyfriend asked again. Thuiman said ok I’m going to get it now. Then after another 15 mins, my boyfriend asked again. Thuiman said he left the towel outside the room. So I checked and I found two towels left on the floor outside my room, with no bag or anything underneath. My boyfriend spoke to Thuiman again and told him that we can’t use those towels on the floor. Then Thuiman said my boyfriend was being disrespectful to him and threatened to kick us out. He said this to my boyfriend: you have two options. You can go back to your room now, or I will deactivate your key and have you removed from the hotel. And he did it. I went to front desk as well and both of our keys can not be used anymore. So we called the police. After the police arrived, we explained everything and they talked to this hotel staff, Thuiman said it was some misunderstanding and then reactivated our cards. So we are finally back to our room, with two dirty towels at 3:30am. Before we headed back to our room, the police asked me if I need anything else, I said I just need two clean towels, not on the floor. And Thuiman said ok but you need to call front desk from your phone for that. What is wrong with him? I just told him I need clean towels. I don’t understand why he is being so difficult and unwelcoming. Because we don’t speak native English?? We are spending 5 nights at Arlo, around 400 per night. Is asking for two clean towels too much? Either this hotel is really under staffed or Thuiman just treated people so differently, as I saw Thuiman was being very nice and friendly to white guests then ignored my words when I was talking to him. I don’t want to use the word racist on him but that is the way I was treated. I have never had such bad experience staying at a hotel and met someone so unprofessional. I hope someone from the management can see this message and give me a proper response.…

Love the energy of this hotel! Such good vibes all around. I especially wanted to give a shout-out to Soloman at the front desk! When we checked in, 3 of us asked if we could all have our rooms next to each other. Soloman went out of his way to re-arrange rooms in the room block to make it happen. It made such a difference for our experience. He is THE BEST!!!

We recently stayed at the Arlo Wynwood and had a fantastic time. The rooms very euro and minimalist yet very comfortable. Loved the rooftop pool, heated water was great and the music and vibe was great. Great location and even fun hanging out in the lobby. The staff were all A-Plus, professional and friendly. I greatly appreciated Luis in reception, he was super helpful and my family and was interesting to talk with.. .stuff like that makes a travel experience better IMHO. Shout out to whoever chose the J.Crew blazers for front desk 😀

I stayed at the newly opened Arlo Wynwood earlier this month with friends and had a great experience. My friends and I frequent the Arlo rooftoop in NYC and we were not disappointed with Wynwood matching the energy we came to know and love! It's a beautiful hotel with super comfy beds and pillows, but it's the staff that really made the experience memorable! Luis at the front desk went all out to make it a great experience for my group by providing friendly, professional service and local recos. We really felt well taken care of throughout our stay and would not hesitate to book Arlo again next time we're in Miami. The coffee shop off the lobby and rooftop pool and bar areas were both great hangouts too. 10/10 recommend staying here!

I stayed at the Arlo for Business and was genuinely happy to see great customer support from front desk to our friendly bellman Hernesto. He was timely, organized, and even helped us get to know some local artsy scenes that are a must in Wynwood.

The hotel is beautiful and well located for on foot travel to many things in the area. But the real stars are the hotel staff. They became friends and were genuine with everything they did to make our stay wonderful. I have to give specific shout outs to Luis, Solomon, Ramona, and Juan Cruz. Luis…what can I say, he literally became my bestie during my stay and he truly went above and beyond the entire time. He was extremely professional, more than accommodating for anything I needed, and definitely left an impact on my entire stay. He made the whole experience. Solomon was super helpful in so many ways as well and extremely reliable when needing assistance with anything. Ramona was my GIRL! She and Juan Cruz on the rooftop pool bar were awesome and made our experience by the pool so enjoyable. Order a Tequila Mojito next time you’re there and she’s bartending. I had her make it and she came through and now it’s the Megan Special that guests started to order. I can’t stop raving enough about them all..they need a raise. Thank you Arlo staff!…

Started staying at Arlo Wynwood a few months ago, going to Miami for business on a monthly basis. The hotel is stylish, comfortable and the staff are warm and welcoming. It's everything I could want in a hotel. But to add on to this, a flight was cancelled recently and I was unable to make my trip. The hotel staff Luis Jesus and Santiago Manzi both went out of their way to help me with my changing of plans and also offered be a credit towards future stays - which they were not obligated to do. So thank you Arlo Wynwood and thank you especially Luis and Santiago. I'll see you again next month!

The room was nice, incredibly soft and nice bed and it had a seating area by the window which was nice. Bathroom was great but shower water sometimes wouldn't warm up for a few min. Beware that when you enter the room, there is a switch that turns on a red "do not disturb" sign in the hallway and if you accidentaly switch it on they do not clean your room and you have to wait for the next day. The rooftop pool area was incredibly nice. Sun everywhere all day around, a good bar where they serve both drinks and light meals. The umbrella's didn't offer much shade so make sure you apply enough sunscreen. We had breakfast at the hotel once and it wasn't great and very expensive. We preferred going to "Morgan's" or "The oasis" both walking distance and great value for money. Staff was always hospitable and nice. Beware that the Wynwood area is still fully in development. There is construction going on every streetcorner. The area has lots of cool stores and we absolutely loved the Wynwood walls. We had great burgers and fries at "Kush" and dining at "Fabel" is an experience.…

This is a beautiful hotel. Its artsy, airy and very hip. As soon as I checked in, I noticed that the crowd around me was very young, mostly couples and groups in their twenties and early thirties. This might explain why the hotel has decided to put a big open bar on the 3rd floor (i believe it is the 3rd) which starts playing music in the mid-afternoon. At first I thought the music was coming from the rooftop pool, but when the music got louder at 5pm, I stepped onto my balcony to check out the source of the music and realized that it came from the bar below my 6th floor room. Soon after, they cranked up the sound even more to the point that I wasn't even able to hear the show that I was watching on tv. The windows of my room were literally vibrating from the 'noise' downstairs. I went to the front desk to ask for a change of rooms but to no avail. At 11pm the noise stopped thankfully, and the next day the very friendly front desk clerk Alicia helped me to switch rooms. My new room faced into the other direction of the hotel, and even though the music could still be heard, it was much much better. So to anyone who is looking for a peaceful stay in this hotel, make sure NOT TO GET ROOMS WITH A BALCONY, as all of these rooms face the bar. If it wasnt for the music this hotel would have received 4-5 stars from me. The room were of ok size and well appointed. Their TVs connect to your ipdad, so you can watch your shows on a big screen; each room has one of these auto-charging plates, where you can lay your phone on to charge, without needing cables, the bathroom is well appointed too; and their rooftop pool area is lovely. I also love the neighborhood which, which is myriad of murals, and grafitti themed galleries, is very unique and entertaining.…
