Titanium member and this is the worst Marriott property I've ever stayed at. It's under renovation which is part of but not all of the problem. It's poorly managed and understaffed. Checkin is delayed, every amenity is out of service and one of our two water bottles was filled with chemicals. The fire alarm has gone off two nights in a row. It's worse than a Days-Inn but at a Marriott price. Stay somewhere else! © Useful o © Funny

While the hotel is under construction and we did have to change rooms from some water temperature issues, the staff was amazing, friendly, patient and accommodating! Managers Kevin and Issac were both customer service oriented and willing to do whatever they could to make us happy to stay. We greatly appreciate their help and time to make our stay great! (Ps- get the VP SUITE! It’s AHMAZING) Now let’s talk about José Perez! The best bellmen ever! This silver fox had an incredible smile and went above and beyond to greet us, help us, give us advice and assure us that while we were there we weren’t just guests of Marriott, we were guests of his and there was nothing to big or small to ask him! From my Marketing Director angle I wish I had employees like José! Greeted with a smile, and eagerness to help us, after our interaction he pleasantly asked us to leave a review and handed me a card with easy instructions, creating a much more likely opportunity that I would in fact, take the time to review our experience. We are looking forward to retuning when they are finished renovations- from the pics it looks like the hotel will be gorgeous!

Stayed for miami art week, convenient location, clean hotel friendly staff. Yazdi the security door man was very helpful, always bring you a drink when you’re waiting for an Uber even gave me a stuffed toy for my son. Rooms with balcony are the best, aircon was a little noisy occasionally rattling.

i have been going to this property for about 4 years. it used to be a little older and less glamorous then the properties around that area but the pricing was favorable. The prices have gone up substantially but the property has also upgraded itself (still ongoing) and is elevating the experience. the one area they have never suffered in is the Valet area. they have the best valet team in the Miami area from my vast experience traveling as i do. they are friendly, competent and always have a good flow of traffic moving through the motor lobby without disruption, even during the remodel work. Jose is always there to greet me with a smile and eagerness to provide great customer service. Alberto and JR make me and my other team mates feel like VIPs no matter when we arrive...these guys are the best bar none. they are a big reason why i come back to this property vs other properties that are nearby. i will pay more to some degree when treated like this consistently. i would recommend anyone staying here even through the remodel

Hooray!! For Lost and Found at the hotel. Left a very expensive phone charger plugged into the outlet by the bed in room #1705 and Yazdi Patel, Safety and Security Officer at Marriott Biscayne Bay, went above and beyond to help me receive it back. With the help of MOD Christine, Yazdi found the item, called and emailed to follow up once he retrieved it from the room, and then the very next day mailed it back to me. TIP: triple check outlets before leaving your room. But in case you forget to do so and leave something behind, no worries, this hotel got you covered! I had to shout out and say job well done, Yazdi Patel! He gave patient, great customer service and attention to detail in this matter. I mean really, how often does a hotel guest leave something behind after checking out -- or lose something -- and it's actually found and returned back expediently?! After a not so great experience at the hotel overall, I will always remember this above-and-beyond experience thanks to Yazdi Patel at Marriott Biscayne Bay. He saved the day, literally. I knew the hotel was being renovated when I made the reservation and went with an open mind. I normally stay in the Brickell area but decided to check out this neighbourhood. Overall, it was a good stay (far better then my experience at Doubletree next store earlier in the week). The construction stopped at 5:30pm Friday and was a non-issue for rest of stay. Renovated room on 18th floor with balcony overlooking marina/cruiseport. The room layout and amenities were great. The room was quite small. The bathtub had a new fancy Moen waterfall shower head. Unfortunately, the diverter valve knob on the tub spout was broken so water would not flow to the shower head. I attempted to call guest services but the room phone was not working. I asked a family member staying in another room to call but no one answered the phone when she attempted to call. This was 8pm on a Friday night. I went down to the front desk and spoke to Yaramani. He didn’t understand what the shower issue was (he said ‘ I have not been in the rooms so I don’t know what that is”) He wrote the room number down on a piece of paper and said he would notify maintenance. No one ever came to the room to make repair. There were some positives during this stay. The staff we encountered were all kind and professional. (Including Yaramani :) ). The car valet and bell hops were attentive and wait times for assistance were short. Yazdi Patel, the safety & security officer, came and spoke with me as I was waiting for other family members to arrive. He made some great suggestions on restaurants in the area ( and advice on using the People Mover). He also offered to keep an eye on my luggage in the lobby while I as in line at front desk. The hotel had self laundry services. We had dinner at the restaurant in the hotel. I had read reviews where customers were not happy about temporary set up so I wasn’t expecting much. The restaurant was great- hostess was friendly, food was delicious ( and hot!), tables were spread out and there was a nice view of the marina. We went back for breakfast the next morning and it was just as good but the young man who was handling the greeting and seating was a dud. He was very groggy and I don’t think he said anything other then “how many people”. Would I stay here again? Probably not. I didn’t feel it was good value for the money paid and I prefer the Brickell neighbourhood.

This is the best possible location for a trip to Miami. It is on the bay and the views are wonderful. It is walking distance to the Bayside shopping and dining center. It is walking distance to four museums and the sports arena downtown. If you walk in any direction, there are beautiful parks and views. Also, it is very close to all the downtown activities and the airport. Otherwise, it is a fairly typical high rise Marriott, but the location is what makes it special.

I met my friend Nicole McQueeney to see the Jo Koy show down the street. We stayed at your hotel on 11/5/22 and had breakfast the next morning in your Catch of the Day restaurant. I left and drove home to Palm Beach Gardens not aware that I left my navy blue suit jacket on the back of my chair in the dining room. I called the restaurant and Meisel Reyes answered even though the restaurant was closed, bravo Maisel! Then got a phone call from Lucas Perez saying they found my jacket, making my day. He was so nice! Later I got another call from Roberto Pagan making all the arrangements to mail me my jacket on Monday. I offered to pay for the shipping but Norberto insisted the hotel send it to me as a service. I was so impressed! All three of your employees went above and beyond helping me locate my jacket and getting it back to me. Thank you for such a dedicated service and extremely pleasant people to deal with. Great team Marriott!

Waited 3 years for our dream holiday booked this hotel for 1 night before our cruise arrived on 5th November 22 went to reception only to be told they had over sold the rooms due to the hotel getting a refurb seriously a 31 storey hotel didn't have room for us we were sent to 1 of their other properties no where near the port called Residents Inn which had no bar no restaurant so after a very long day we were far from happy we paid to stay in a 5 star hotel close to the port so we didn't have far to go to our ship and be able to view the bay from our hotel balcony but no took inland away from the port with a view of buildings and a star rating of nothing so angry ruined the beginning of our holiday for sure

Spent three nights here in late October 2022. I was fortunate enough to get upgraded using Marriott Suite Night upgrades to the Vice Presidential Suite. Fancy name, but really nothing more than a normal suite with a very small bathroom. Part of the reason that I give the hotel a lower rating is at the time of the upgrade, the room description did not have any mention of a sofa bed, and i was traveling with my son. I reached out to the hotel directly and was told by the assistant room manager that the room did not have a sofa bed, but at the time of check in l, they would see if there were any junior suites with two beds available. The hotel is going through a renovation, so none of those were available, so they provided a roll away. My son is 6'3", so not the best option, but ok. On the second day, we decided to move some couch pillows and lo and behold it was a sofa bed! During the duration of our visit, the TV didn't work in our newly renovated room. Two maintenance visits, several messages, a couple of front desk visits and a few days, it still wasn't working. A functional TV, especially when staying over a Sunday, is required. I didn't want to go out and watch F1 and football, but I did. As noted, the hotel is undergoing a renovation, and they will send you an email a few days before you arrive to let you know the concierge lounge and pool are closed z and the bar is in a makeshift corner. That information was buried at the time of booking, which was disappointing. Final negative... parking is expensive. Website says it's $34, but after taxes and fees, it's over $40 per night. Positives...the hotel staff was always friendly. The location is awesome, central to South Beach, Calle Ocho, the Arts District and the airport. In the end, I would stay here again due to the location...after the renovation is done. This was a points stay, and I am a Titanium member, so to the hotel's credit , they did credit me $100 for all the negative stuff.
