People were nice; however the hotel pictures were misleading. The hotel is very dated. Carpet, paint, curtains, fixtures and furniture were very old and worn. Door handle knobs fell off and were dented and mold was found in bathrooms. Definitely was not satisfied for the price I paid. Would not recommend.
My family and I stayed here recently after a cruise that left out of Miami. It was a reasonable uber ride to the hotel from the port and a convenient location near the airport for our flight out the next day. The hotel staff were lovely and made us feel welcome right away. We arrived early and had to wait for a room to be available but were able to use the pool and other amenities while we waited. The pool is large and enjoyable and there is a pool bar as well. My kids were fascinated with the iguanas that were in the landscape around the pool area. We had a great view from our room of the lagoon and we could watch the planes from the airport come and go. There is a restaurant and quick food options in the lobby and lots of restaurants in the area deliver. The shuttle to the airport runs every 30 minutes and was easy to hop on and go to the airport. Overall a wonderful experience and we will stay here again in the future.…
This hotel needs a remodel for sure! The rooms are so dated, and the bathroom mirror and other fixtures are chipped. While the room was clean, there are better hotels in the vicinity that would offer better accommodations for the price. On top of that, the parking fee is high for the lot condition and the annoying ways you have to get in and out of it.
The hotel is big, the rooms are spacious, but the rooms need to be updated. There was a big rust stain in the tub the carpet in the hall way was splitting at the seams, the vanity was wood and had scuff marks and the walls in the hallway needed to be re wallpapered. The ice machine and microwave are right by the elevators, but the hotel was so big that by the time I reheated my food and got back to my room it was cold. You do pay for parking. Everyone was very nice. I only stayed 2 nights because we were tenting our house so I did not use any of the amenities. There is a grocery store nearby and some fast food places as well.
Stayed here for a day, really chill service here. They allowed for late check-out. The location is really close to the airport but not nice to stay in if you intend to visit Miami. Great elevators, pool, and several spots for grabbing food in the hotel. Not a bad spot for checking out if you are planning a long layover in Miami which I was. Personally, I don't have a high opinion of Miami so the further I can stay from that 24 dive bar known as Miami the better. The hotel has a view of the city from far off which is nice. Really quiet even when the planes are landing a mile away from the building. You will definitely be shocked by how close the planes fly to the building but it's not loud at all. If you're a Hilton God Status the upgrade is pretty nice!
Mediocre hotel very close to the airport. I would stay there again, if I needed a hotel near the airport but not for a longer stay. Airport transportation is big plus. Service was good but the room was a little bit out of date.
Nightmare begin with the shuttle driver almost missed me. he didn't stop and check if anyone need to get on. I had to drag my bags to chase him. When I get off the shuttle he refuse to go another round. Idk other people were waiting to go to the airport. The shuttle start at 6, I was at my spot since 6:14, got on at 6:42, arrived just before 7 guess he gone for break already. The hotel is dark and stinky odor the minute you walk in. The digital key didn't work. I had to go back downstairs to get a keycard when front desk had to argue with you it should work. Front desk staff was not friendly or just simply don’t care. They said the keycard machine dysfunction. Wow lucky me. I took a red eye from west coast get in here in the morning and just want to sleep few hours before my meeting at noon, Instead, I had to stand there and wait 15 more minutes to get that keycard machine fix. Lines was super long. Front desk stuff just don’t care. I was shocked by the condition of the room. This can’t be a Hilton. Stains on walls, bathroom counter, desk and what not pretty much every surface you can see. Towels has holes. I decided to take a nap and checked out. The entire experience was terrible. Luckily, I found another downtown hotel to stay for the rest of my trip.…
We booked a King Room - Lagoon View for 1 night. We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the airport as we had an early flight out. I have stayed in many airport hotels around the world - in none of those stays did I ever feel my bed was in the middle of the runway. This hotel is so old, dirty, run down and decrepid that the double glazed windows are all but useless in keeping the sound of jet engines out. The noise of planes taking off and landing continued all night, all early morning and only stopped when we went to the actual airport. Hilton - you need to up your game!!!! 2 recommendations; firstly, before the POS on all rooms clearly state that because of the age of the building and its location you will be affected by jet engine noise and secondly, put in an urgent plan to renovate and as part of that plan introduce glazing of sufficient quality to cancel the noise.…
I stayed at this hotel while on business travel. On the day of my arrival, my first room was found to have ants. They gave me another room and this one was not only dusty, but it was infested with spiders, it is beyond ridiculous. Clearly the room was not cleaned properly.
Staying on the 10th floor, on the first night there was a roach in the bathroom, called the front desk and they said they would have someone come spray. The next night same roach and this time it had three babies with it still in the bathroom room called the front desk and since it was early around 5am they said I would have to wait. I got back in bed and a roach was crawling on the headboard. This place needs to be fumigated.
