The hotel was old and in much need of an update. Hotel was originally built in the 1960's and still looks like it. The beds were too springy with no support. The carpet was sticky in places so we kept our socks on. Bathroom was fine. Stand up shower and a hairdryer in the bathroom. The rooms all surround the...

We had two different rooms at this resort. We enjoyed the restaurant and pool the night we were there. Both rooms were clean and comfortable, we enjoyed the screened in porches to sit on and drink coffee. Our beds were clean and we had a good nights rest. We overlooked the water and were able to walk and enjoy the...

The resort is impressive when you walk in. The restaurant food was great and the staff were all very friendly. The room was great! Enjoyed sitting by the pool--felt like we were in another world, which was what we were looking for!

Stayed for one night in a 2 queen (more like double) bed room. Although it served its purpose for one night, if we were staying longer we would have asked to move to a different room, assuming a higher price point might get you better accommodations. It smelled clean when you walked in, but don't walk barefoot. Mattresses are old,...

We enjoyed our 4 night stay in one of the cottage suites overlooking the marina. The room was a decent sized, had a nice kitchenette and was quiet. We enjoyed the vibe of the hotel, old Florida charm with lush plants on the grounds, a nice looking pool and a grand lobby. We ate at the restaurant twice, the food...

Me and my husband had a great long weekend stay here. The staff is beyond amazing. Very friendly and hospitable. We had so much fun at the bar/restaurant in the evening for karaoke and amazing live entertainment. Also enjoyed playing pool in the billard room. We went to everglade city during the mornings and enjoyed a relaxing afternoon by the...

We was there for one night. They have enough parkingspaces. The rooms was big, clean and modern equipment. I recommend also the restaurant and the tour with the boats an the same place. Its ok to stay for the tour and visit the nationalpark. The pool and the fitnessroom we do not used. I recommend it and come again.

This is a grand and lovely old resort hotel on the edge of the Everglades, adjacent to a large marina and a large community of private residences. It is a 25 minute drive to the eastern edge of Naples. Our housekeeping room was at the back of the property, facing the marina. It had a screened porch and a small...

This is the third stay at Port of the Islands for my husband and myself; the other two times we were here with group tours. This time we returned on our own and appreciated the convenience of the location of this resort to the many areas of the Everglades in the western sections of the park and to Everglades City....
