If you are looking to stroll 5th avenue and a 10 minute walk to the beach stay here. The room was ok, the bed wasn't that comfy but bearable. Small pool area. Friendly staff. No breakfast to speak of.

I locked in a reservation before i read the reviews. After i read some not-so-pleasing reviews i became nervous about my reservation. Aside from a firm 4 pm checkin policy, we had a completely wonderful experience. The pool was lovely, warm and clean. Very serene and relaxing. The location of this hotel was absolutely fantastic. So close to many places...this...

Now this is a fine hotel. Small, cozy and very well located, close to fifth avenue where fine restaurants and stores are found. Tin City is just 2 blocks away (although it is a highly overpriced place to buy souvenirs, this Tin City has nothing to offer). Everything within walking distance. The room was spacious, it had a huge bathroom...

Arrived with four cases which I struggled to unload at checkin and the guy at the desk successfully avoided eye contact. So don't expect any help unloading the car :) The room was great but the air conditioning was via one of those loud wall units that sound like a Pratt and Whitney jet engine when operating. Why would such...

The old Trianon is supposed to be a 4 star hotel. I can only guess it gets its stars from its close proximity to 5 th Ave, as it Can not be for its facility's, rooms, none existent room service, none existent food or friendly staff! Not to mention the dirty pool and the old tired furniture. My room for...

This is not the place to go if you want cabana boys hovering around, a concierge fawning over scheduling your spa treatment, or a doorman in a tophat. It's discrete, low key, quiet. Free parking. Very near shopping and dining. Pleasant rooms with botanical pictures everywhere. Small but perfectly nice pool. Accommodating small staff that seem to mind their business...

Pros: Great location very near 5th Ave South and all the wonderful restaurants there, yet without the 5th Ave noise. Main part of our room (deluxe with balcony) was a nice size and comfortable to be in, and at a good rate compared to places nearby. Cons: Bathroom layout was weird - when the door is open, it blocks the...

When our aircon was hit by lightning we needed a place nearby to stay until it was repaired. Trianon had good reviews and prices so we gave it a try. A bit of a mix up allocating our room as they gave us a keycard for a room that was already occupied. Fortunately, we didn't go in and surprise the...

Great location, within a short walk to 5th Ave for dining and shopping. A long walk to the beach (I would call it too far to realistically walk), and once you get there you will not find any chairs to rent nor restrooms. We drove 15 min's to a beach where you could rent chairs. The biggest downside is the...

The hotel is in a relatively quiet location close to the many restaurants on Fifth Ave. It is a nice hotel, but could use a few upgrades to make it much better. On first entering the room we noticed a musty smell. The smell reduced considerably if we kept the air conditioner running constantly. My guess is the carpeting, drapery,...
