We enjoyed our stay at Buena Vista Inn - The Mermaid Suite #3 was perfect for us and our small dogs. Grounds are beautiful and the location is so close to Flagler Ave shops and restaurants - you can walk!
We wanted to break away for days with our dog. So we headed north to New Smyrna Beach and the Buena Vista Inn. What a great stay. The room, Sunrise, was very clean. Appropriate size. The shower had the proper temp and pressure, not sure...More
VERY small, very small rooms. Make sure you double and triple check your reservation as Brett makes mistakes. Two on our visit, did not get the room we reserved and weren't booked for the correct number of nights. Then there is the shower, either hot...More

Hi, Dogs are not allowed on the drive-on beach, in New Smyrna. However, there is a doggy beach, on the northwest side. Its called Smyrna Dunes Park. They charge you a day pass, like the drive-on beach. It's at the end of North Peninsula Ave, before the coast guard station, turn right and there should be a small hut in which you can pay. It's a fun beach.

"Any room would be good, but we liked the park going out to the back door."
