We have been hearing about this secret corner in Florida since a coworker got married there years ago. We finally got to visit and it did not disappoint. We staying in a 3 bedroom two level on the bay. It was perfect as we are a family with two kids travelling with grandparents. It had a full size washer and... More

We went here with our family over Thanksgiving with our 2 young kids and had a blast. The rooms we stayed in were spacious and comfortable with a great view of the sunsets over the gulf. Everything is first-class here and they a had a bunch of perfectly planned events such as movie night under the stars, a tree lighting... More

Full disclosure - my wife and I have been to South Seas many times, so yes, we obviously love the place. And there’s a lot to love here. The beaches are really nice, and are perfect for long walks or just an afternoon in the sun. The beaches are a little more rustic than one might find at a Marco... More

What a magical place to stay! The beach is lovely, staff is friendly, and the location is covienent to everything! We were blown away by the holiday tree lighting. My children had the best time decorating cookies and writing letters to Santa. South Seas is our new holiday tradition!

A huge resort right between the Gulf of Mexico and the intracoastal waterway. This place has it all.....three swimming pools, one with slides, restaurants. Gym overlooking the beautiful marina , golf and tennis. Need a lift because the resort is too big. No problem, free trolleys run all day thruout the resort. A must visit.

The ideal family resort and and outstanding service staff that could not have been more pleasant! We enjoyed all the restaurants, "Sunset Beach", The Pointe Pool, and most of the resorts' amenities. We recommend renting a golf cart to really maximize the time. Also, go for the holidays as the resort is highly decorated and very festive with the very... More

Fantastic location at the tip of Captiva Island. Long beaches, quite nice pool area with fun slides - definitely a hit with the kids. Rooms were a mix, some parts quite dated and run-down, others in better shape.

Just spent 4 wonderful nights at South Seas Resort. We stayed in the Harbor Side guestrooms. These rooms are close to all the pools, restaurants, laundry, Ship Store, and the marina. Saw at least a dozen Manatee's in the harbor every day. The resort is very large but there is a free trolley that runs non-stop end to end. You get... More
