The rooms were dirty and outdated, surprising for rooms that were updated within the last 5 years. The main restaurant was also dirty, and the service was painful. After our first breakfast we never returned!

Love this place! Perfectly nestled between Pine Island Sound and the Gulf beach, this resort was so relaxing and nice. We sprung for a gulf front cottage to celebrate our anniversary. We were surprised to find complimentary fruit/cheese tray and chilled wine awaiting us at checkin, nice touch! The extra costs for the cottage worth every penny. Reserved parking spot...

Everything was pretty good at the hotel, the building we stayed in was a built older and could probably use some updates. But the property overall is nice and the staff was great. There were also 2 nice restaurants right on site.

We come back to 'Tween Waters for its incredible location and relaxing days. We have been staying in a suite overlooking the bay for the last few years. Watching the birds, boats and manatees from the lanai, having morning coffee with the sun coming up -- it is all what we bring back with us to the cold weather. The...

My husband and I stayed at the Tween Waters resort for a long weekend and really enjoyed our stay. Our room had a gulf view and incredible sunsets. The breakfast was above par for a continental with a beautiful array of fresh cut fruit, juices, etc. We particularly enjoyed renting a boat for the day and exploring outlying islands on...

The rooms are very old. Resort is in need of updating which they are doing. Quite costly for no amenities as they charge for everything. Recommend the cheeseburger by the pool only. Fish and chicken tacos were not edible. Their own restaurant was awful too. 10 meals and not one good meal, couldn't get a done or warm baked potato...

My teen daughter and I stayed here on spring break and enjoyed it. Great family and relaxing atmosphere! We could see dolphins and manatees from our room! Enjoyed the pool. Service and food were great. I would recommend!

Yearly trip to Captiva with my best buddies and sorority sisters and. The only problem encountered was the dated gym and the cooler weather. We totally understand that Tween Waters does everything it can to provide the best service however the weather is beyond their power!

I just spent a week at the Tween with my wife and kids. The kids had their friends with them and got their own room. We really like the Tween because it has that "old Florida" feel. It is not commercialized like you see everywhere these days. They are constantly working on some sort of update, this year they have...

The hotel was a great place to stay. Clean, accommodating staff, and plenty to do. We booked because we heard about the crab races, and they were so much fun. We went to the earlier, family race and had a great time. Adults and children of all ages had a blast. The morning continental breakfast was outstanding. So much fresh...
