We visited today, 1st December for lunch and what a lovely lunch it was. The food - gammon steak with chips, salad, egg and peas was delightful as was the rump steak sandwich my wife had. The battered onion rings are a complete winner ! The staff have a great sense of humour and I received my lunch in stages...

Visited the Ferry Inn as we couldn't be bothered to cook. Staff were excellent and helpful. Food was superb and service was top rate. Possibly the best steak I've had for many years ... and I eaten lots of cow ! Highly recommend and we have rebooked to go back tomorrow.

Visited here with a large group ( 20 of us ). All 3 courses that were served looked very good. My own choice was garlic mushrooms, giant stack burger, Eton Mess. The mushrooms were served with salad and on top of 2 pieces of bread ( plenty for a starter) I would have preferred more garlic flavour but that's a...

Booked for 7 of us quite disappointed with our meals feel it was over priced for the quality of the food. The service was seriously lacking asked for mustard never arrived also had to ask for the bill a few times before we got it.

We arrived in our boat and tied up to the floating jetty, the jetty appears to be available on all but the lowest of tides. We had a great lunch of a mix of starters and mains from the specials and normal menus. The food is freshly cooked and very plentiful. We will definitely stop at this eatery again either...

On our last night staying at a cottage close by we decided to have our last dinner at the Ferry House Inn. We called for a reservation at 6pm and to our surprise it was almost booked-up for the Friday evening, however, we managed to get a table for 3. We enjoyed an average steak meal with homemade (??) chips...
