As Disney Vacation Club Members this is our home resort and we have stayed here several times the most recent in October 2014 on Fall Break. We had a 2 BR Savannah View room that was wonderful. Nothing like going out on your balconey and seeing animals such as Zebras, Ankole Cattle and Giraffes. As with any Disney Resort there...

We stayed here for a week at the end of September 2014 and from check in to check out everything was amazing. We travelled as a family 2 adults and 2 children 12 & 9 and I'm not going to lie I had my reservations about staying here as I didn't want to feel like I was at the zoo...

This was our first trip as DVC members, and we were all super excited. We traveled with my father-in-law, husband, myself, and my 6 year old son. It all ended well, but the start was rocky to say the least. We were on the wrong side of the hotel after making checking 2 times prior requesting the sunset side. They...

I wanted to write a review about two employees that were helping us in the night vision area. Donovan and Chris were very informative about the resort and the animals. They answered all of our questions and were great company! They gave us great information about South Africa where they're from. We're so pleased with our stay so far!

We spent 13 nights at the Boardwalk and arrived here for 3 nights. We had a savannah view, which was really a great novelty and well worth the extra $$. The theming is great (not over the top), and the pool area is absolutely fantastic for the kids and adults alike.

The resort prides itself on environmental responsibility - etc. Which is fine - but that means some VERY dark lighting choices. That was my biggest complaint - truly my only complaint. Otherwise the theming was wonderful, the scenery (and animals) was (were) wonderful, the food was wonderful! But a word to the wise - this is no where near a...

Excellent resort to stay when you want to be a little removed from the Disney action. The attention to detail in all aspects of the resort is phenomenal. Relaxing and tranquil . Transportation is pretty good despite its distance from other major areas. Definitely budget time to get from resort to the Magic Kingom area of Disney World .

From the moment you step into your studio at Kidani Village, you feel you have gone travelling for sure. These rooms are dark with very dark wood furnishings and darker, earthtones but it's not the kind of dark you hate but is comforting. There are lantern styled lamps that attest to an African theme. The bed is made of very...

Like another family on here, we were on the furthest side of the hotel, which meant walking nearly a half mile to get to the lobby to grab a shuttle and then another half mile to get to the main restaurants which are all a Jamboree House. With a 5 year old and a 7 month old in tow, it...

A stay at the lodge, which is magnificent, is quite different than a stay at the Kidani Village. The walk from the Lodge to the Vacation Club Kidani Village was tough for my twenty-something children, after a busy day in the parks. The shuttles that were promised to be running between the lodge & the Kidani Village were non-existent. If...
