This is supposed to be a high end Disney facility and the physical plant is certainly large and well kept however, Disney missed too many details. The pool is way too small for the size of the resort, the restaurant choices are too limited, and the location is too remote from the attractions. The busses are supposed to run on...

She knew she was in for something special the moment she realized I had turned off from heading towards Magic Kingdom. The architecture of the Lodge is magnificent. The Staff all were welcoming and friendly and the view from the room wonderful (see below). I booked directly through Disney and they pulled out all the stops! Room upgrade, early access...

We came to WDW for our yearly visit and we were impressed by this resort! Of course this is the busiest time at WDW and everything was packed (next time, I will be sure to come during a slower time). Everything was still amazing. When we went through the gate to go into the resort, the guard says "welcome home"....

We just returned from a great week at Wilderness Lodge. Thought it would be helpful to list pros and cons. Pros: ** Esthetically beautiful. If you are into the outdoors, you will love the decor and landscape. ** Good spot. Easy to get to Magic Kingdom via boat. ** Great friendly staff... Cons: ** For the money, we thought the...

go back to the restaurant, and we were able to pay for the meals with our meal plan, at no time did any of the "cast members" we talked to ever apologize for the embarrassment of the initial decline. As a whole, the staff at Wilderness Lodge seemed unhappy. At one point there was an enormous amount of vomit on...

We had a lovely stay at Wilderness Lodge. It's my favorite Disney resort. The scenery is beautiful and very relaxing. The restaurants are very good and offer a lot of variety. Very convenient access to the parks. Lots of activities at the Lodge and a great movie experience at nearby Fort Wilderness. My son loves animals and really enjoyed that...

I enjoyed the decor and mood of the place. My son really enjoyed the pools. Their food court was small but accommodating. The rooms were well done and the staff was really helpful and patient with us with the new bracelets. We were only suppose to stay two nights, but enjoyed it so much that we stayed and extra night....

I stayed here for my honeymoon and it was great. I have not had a more pleasurable stay at a resort anywhere. This is the best atmosphere. From the pool to the room to me it couldn't be better anywhere else at Disney. They have a camp fire, movies under the stars and a night time boat parade of lights....

As this was our first visit to Disney we decided to stay on site and the Wilderness Lodge looked like lots of fun. It truly lived up to expectation and we had a wonderful stay here. The room was ample size for a couple and the bathroom was nicely separated into duel wash basins and the loo and bath in...

Having never been to Disney before and having a 12 year old daughter with Asperger's syndrome and a 17 year old son we wanted a hotel not on the monorail route to make it less busy and loved the idea of feeling like you were away from the hustle and bustle of the busier resorts. It is also the only...
