We stayed at Bay Lake Tower in Feb 2018. The facility is beautiful and well cared for. I found our room small and cramped after we took out the sofa bed. The proximity to the Magic Kingdom Park was great... a little more than a...More
We have stayed at Disney numerous times over the years. Bay Lake Tower will go down as our least favorite. Aside from Carl in the Concierge area service is incredibly poor. There were black flecks in our ice bucket every morning from the ice machine....More
I love this location as a DVC member. Great restaurants; the California Grill and the top of the world lounge, both are great spots to watch the fireworks at Magic Kingdom. Great transportation; monorail and buses. And easy parking if you rent a car. All...More

Thanks for spending your family holiday with us at Bay Lake Tower and being a part of our Disney family during your vacation.
Top of the World Lounge is a true gem for our Disney Vacation Club members; the view of the fireworks at night...More
Great location for family with children. Superb swim pool and water slide and splash pad. The Wave restaurant has excellent service and food. Would recommend staying here. Within walking distance to the Magic Kingdom and the monorail also stops at the Contempory next door. 5...More

We also have two girls and we went when they were that age. We opted for walking to and from the magic kingdom, the monorail to epcot, and the bus the rest of the time. They do now have the minnie vans, if you download the lyft app you can request one for a fee (I think $20) and those come with car seats for the kids. We used the minnie vans on our most recent trip and it was well worth the money to avoid the bus lines!

I believe if you booked your room though Disney for cash, daily housekeeping is included. We "rented" Disney Vacation Club points through a points broker. We were staying a full week and housekeeping came in on the 4th day to replace towels and remove trash. Since we had kitchen trash that couldn't wait 4 days, we called down and it was picked up. When you are using DVC points it is more like a vacation rental home. There is a vacuum, which we ran around the main living room twice and a broom and dustpan which I believe we used in the kitchen (pesky Cherrios). There was probably a sponge mop as well, but I don't recall using it.
