I saw many reviews on this hotel and thought, "Well, it can't be that bad." Keep that in mind if you decide to stay here. We arrived at then airport after 830 pm and waited and waited and waited for the complementary shuttle WHICH IS ADVERTISED ON THE WEBSITE. I choose this hotel in part because of that option. We called from the airport probably 20-30 times while waiting. About 6 times I actually got somebody to pick up the phone. I was always asked to hold. Well, when they put you on hold, you eventually time-out and get disconnected. On at least 3 occasions I asked for the shuttle at the airport before I was put on hold. The desk worker told me she would order the shuttle -- and it came after about 75 minutes of waiting. At the hotel, there was a long line to check in and a lot of grumpy people. When we got to the counter, the desk worker did apologize, saying they were short staffed. Industries are using this a lot as an excuse. Here's my answer: You are short staffed to take my reservation. You knew your hotel would be booked full that night. You needed somebody else there to work that shift and you choose not to. Here's my thing about the shuttle: If you are going to advertise a complementary shuttle to compete with more expensive hotels, the you need to follow thru on the service. Ugh....go somewhere else. Overnight stay for cruise out of Port Canaveral- We were able to check in early (after a long day of airports) Super friendly and helpful Mariana checked us in and helped with all of our questions. Room was just as pictured and had everything we needed for a good night sleep, shower and go! Breakfast was delicious and Emanie was excellent at her job. Would recommend for Orlando.

Stayed here before cruise and was a little disappointed. Took forever to check in not enough employees. The hotel is a bit rundown could use a good cleaning. The breakfast are was too small for the amount of guests accessing it. Have stayed at better Comfort Suites

The front desk and kitchen staff was awesome BUT don’t expect any help from there Maintenance the hot cross tub jets we’re not working. We informed the maintenance person and he told us we didn’t turn on the timer and the jet will work we told him we didn’t that and the jets didn’t come on. He than turned on the timer and said he will add more water to help the jets come on we sit in the hot tub for 15 minutes and no change and he never added any water We informed the maintenance staff that the jets was still not they said ok we will check it out . We waited and waited played in the pool lounged around the pool for hours no maintenance worker returned to service the hot tub

This was the most unprofessional stay I have encountered in my years of staying at hotel. We had a layover in Orlando so we decided to get a hotel for the night. We booked the room around 1234 and was told to be outside for pick up at 1 am. We was outside for 1250 in front of pick up and a van never came or no one ever called me after the employee said he was taking my number down. I called around 105 and the employee began to yell back and forth with me without trying to assist me with the matter or give other options. He then HUNG UP IN MY FACE before I tried to get the address to Uber. The dispatcher and the hotel employee was simply disrespectful, unethical and simply should not be in customer service. He simply stated “I don’t care about this job anyways”. He states his name was Lance but he probably told the wrong name however he was at work around 1 am. Don’t book here if you want to be treated with respect PLEASE. …

We arrived for our scheduled stay at approximately 3 p.m. only to find out our reservation had been cancelled, even though we were Platinum members (one from the top which is Diamond). We have been Choice Privileges members for 15+ years. The desk person was going to book us a room at the same rate which was the right thing to do. However, the manager came out and vetoed that with an increase in $80 plus tax. She said she had tried to contact us via a phone call and an email. The phone call only said "Orlando, FL" and there was no voicemail left. Typically, I don't answer my phone if I think it is SPAM, and I thought it was SPAM, but I did check for a message. She said she emailed us as well. We did receive an email the evening before our reservation entitled "GM.FL952 Reservation CANCELLATION for <my name> Cxl#: 504031258". Again, we thought it was a PHISHING message and we disregarded it for four reasons. 1) nothing about Comfort Suites Orlando was mentioned in the title, 2) the confirmation # did not match, 3) there were misspellings in the body of the message, and 4) it wanted credit card information. I had updated my credit card on the website just before we left, as we had some fraudulent activity a few months prior and the company insisted we have a new card. I may have missed updating the card on the actual reservation, but I thought I had done so. We insisted that we thought the notifications were SPAM, but the manager would have none of it. Obviously, they were near full, and she wanted the extra $80+ bucks and knew she could get it. It was quite a blow to us since we had to get up the next morning at 3:30 a.m. to take an early flight out. Instead of relaxing, we were in panic mode to get a hotel. This hotel should be called uncomfortable comfortable suites their beds were uncomfortable and the shuttle service seemed to take long to come, when I called the hotel also had trouble hearing them so think should be app you can check in with or another number you can call. We arrived at the airport at 420 didn't get picked up until 530 so time got to hotel didn't get to enjoy pool or hot tub

I really liked this hotel. The room was large, very clean and had no odor. It was perfect for a pre-flight stay. Things went south when it was time for the shuttle to the airport. The driver was being rude and claiming that they did not go to terminal C. He did take me anyway and I reported this during my survey. The hotel is following up on it but I would be clear before you get into the shuttle where you need to be dropped off. The worst part of this hotel is that they charge a security deposit. Not sure why this is needed when you provide a credit card. I was charged the $50 deposit twice in error. I called to report it and they said the 2nd credit would appear in a few days. I called about 4 days later and they told me it would be 3 to 5 business days when 6 had already gone by. Then they said they didn't even see 2 charges. So I hung up and called credit card company to dispute the charge. This is a good hotel with bad staff. …

We stayed here 1 night after our flight was canceled due to Hurricane Nicole. Check in was fast and easy, staff was nice and helpful. Only issues was hallways, elevators and room smelled like someone just finished smoking a joint. Also our TV did not work but hotel staffer was able to get it working.
