This was our second stay at Pop Century, and was just as good as the first time! Love the access to the Skyliner for Epcot/HS, and bus service to MK was smooth - no wait at all. We used Lyft to get to Universal Studios, which was way cheaper than staying at a Universal property. The bed is super comfy, with LOTS of pillows! Room was clean, and bathroom is nice. It can be a bit noisy in the mornings, but we had to get up anyway. We did get to use the pools this time, and loved them all. The food court is great, with lots of different options. Everyone in the lobby was super nice and accommodating. When we needed more coffee/creamers for the room, they sent a runner who was there before we even got back to the room! Great & friendly service. When we come back, we will certainly stay here again. Very good value for Disney, and a fun place to stay!

Hotel's Favourite
We're staying with our friend in Sarasota for several weeks and decided it would be fun to go to Disney for a couple of days. Another friend decided to join us. Rather than book 1 double and 2 single rooms, we "roomied up" so I shared a room with our girlfriend and my husband shared a room with the male friend. Although our friend had checked us in online, we wanted to go to Reception so that we could register our own credit card for any expenditure over the couple of days. What a great decision that was. Judy was a real star on Reception, being patient and sorting everything out for us, ensuring that we had everything we needed to make our stay pleasurable. Our rooms weren't ready - but we didn't expect them to be as it was only 9 am - and we were duly notified later in the day when the rooms were ready. Judy had even arranged for our rooms to be next to each other - although we didn't use the interconnecting door! The transportation arrangements for getting to the Parks from this Hotel are excellent, with the buses arriving frequently. We went to Magic Kingdom on our first day and were on our first ride by 10 am - and that was after arriving at Reception at 9am!! There is also the addition of the Skyline which we experienced in the evening so that we could enjoy the views/lights. Both of our rooms were very clean with everything we needed. At first we were concerned to see there was only one large bed but then realised that there is a "pull-down" bed located where the table is. Fantastic! There were more than enough pillows too, and the beds were super comfortable. We decided to eat in the Food Hall at the Hotel where there is plenty of choice, depending on what you want. Reasonably priced too! The tables were cleaned as soon as guests left. The following day we went to Hollywood Studios - and the bus was just pulling in as we arrived at the coach area. Perfect timing! An added advantage was that we had early admission to the Park, so we could get ahead of the rush to try out the new Star Wars rides. Fantastic! Sadly we only stayed at Pop Century for one night (the last time we stayed for a week) but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thanks for a fantastic, albeit short, stay - hopefully it won't be too long before we can come back again for longer.

We stayed at Pop in Sept '22 (2 of us). You can tell the room has been renovated; everything was in great condition. We especially liked the Murphy bed option, the amount of outlets in the room, and the decor. At the Hippity Dippity Pool, we had a great time dancing to music over several decades and playing "Name That Tune" with fellow guests. The Pina Co LAVA drink at the pool Petals Bar is a must-do! The best thing about the resort is the access to the Disney Skyliner. My daughter doesn't want to stay anywhere else from now on that doesn't have the Skyliner attached to it. ou favorite parks are EPCOT and DHS, so this was a huge benefit to staying here. Make sure you bring bug spray, as this resort has a lot of "love bugs" flying around. Also know that the food court has mediocre food at best, so plan on eating elsewhere for your stay (Art of Animation is right across the bridge; I wish we would've tried their food court or taken the Skyliner to the neighboring resorts: Riviera or Caribbean Beach for food). We will definitely stay here again. Great value for what your get.

This was my first time staying here. My first impression was that it was like the All Star Resorts. I was in the 50’s building. I loved the location close to the Classic Hall—easy walking distance. I did receive a warm welcome and even was asked if I was celebrating anything special. I did like that I was away from the noise from the pool area. My room was clean and comfortable. I had so many pillows. I could easily hear my neighbors but thank goodness they were quiet after 10pm.

First visit here. APs several years. we asked for a room in the 50s building but got assigned a room in the 80s building. too far from liner. . Not at all what we asked for. I even had made a phone call prior to coming. we used the app to get room notification but had to go inside to the lobby anyway. a very nice lady named Judy immediately fixed it and gave us the perfect room and it was ready right then. So why put us so far away to start with? )Lesson is always go inside if you don’t like your room location. ) Food in cafeteria area was good. burger. bbq. pretty flavorful. clean. fast. lots of selection. Parking lot was a bit of a walk if you could not get a close spot so beware if you have a lot of luggage, you will need to get a luggage rack before you park your car because there are not any just hanging about at the different buildings room 3372, building g 3, z3rd floor. corner. perfect location to sky liner. very short pleasant walk. decor is super cute in decades theme. bring a fan for blocking noise. thin walls. pool gets noisy at night. open till 11. room was plenty large for 2, and would’ve been for 3-4. 2nd queen bed pulled down on top of table. clean. no issues w/room. would def stay again in same area for sky liner. it goes to epcot, hollywood studios and stops at Caribbean and rivera. but would not in 90,80 or 70.

What's not to love? Of all the Disney properties we have stayed at, this is the one we call home and come to most often. Simply, we just love it. Checked in about 12:30am on a Thurs night/Friday. i was a little concerned since it still said our room was not ready. What worried me was that they were going to bump us to another resort, which we really didn't want. We wanted Pop. I'm not a fan of the moderates, so unless it was going to be a Deluxe, I was going to be really sad. However, after three people came out to click away on the computer at the front desk it was sorted out and we had our room, albeit back to the 80's in Building 9 (same as our last trip). Personally we don't feel there are any bad locations at this resort, but some are just better than others. I was hoping to be closer to the Skyliner, but lets be honest, this was just a few minute walk away from it, the front lobby and the buses, in addition it was by the quiet pool so what more could we really want? We were in room 9371, pool view. I'm sure arriving after midnight, we got what was left, but we were at Pop and we were happy. This was our first time back at Pop with every other day mousekeeping. I didn't really expect it, since others have said they didn't get it, but we did. It WAS nice to get my bed made by a "professional" again. We aren't messy people, so it never bothered us not to get our room cleaned, but the bed making was nice. Even tho we had hung up our towels to reuse, they were replaced as well. Oh, I also asked for an extra blanket right away the first morning we got up and it was delivered literally in about 2 minutes. There just isn't much more than a sheet on the beds and we both need the extra weight. We are just two adults, and while the rooms are small, they are perfect for us. I would hesitate with three or four adults however. We leave the extra bed up, but it would be really crowded with it down. Love all the storage options as well. There is a dresser with three large drawers, a small closet and numerous cubby holes in the bathroom area where you can store much more. We never need all that space. One night after park close we headed to the food court to get some late night food. It was about 10:30pm (they closed at 11pm) and I was surprised how busy it was! Kind of loud and chaotic, so we just got ourselves a table and did a mobile order. It was ready in about 5 min, picked up and ate at our table. Ahhhh, sometimes I do like that mobile ordering. Now, this kind of made me mad...........the portions are ridiculously HUGE. Hubby had a chili cheese dog and it was literally a foot long and over an inch in diameter. That's just crazy. Who can eat that much? Ok, he did, but still. LOL I had the chicken fingers and it was four huge pieces of chicken with fries. Biggest meal we had on property and we felt it was really cheap for what we got. But seriously, why so much? I can't imagine all the wasted food. I did use our quiet pool one afternoon just to relax the old feet for a bit and get some sun. Otherwise we didn't utilize the resort any more than that. It remains our favorite (we are returning again in Sept and Nov). It has everything we want and love, and nothing we don't. The Skyliner is 100% a deal breaker for us now, and we don't want to stay anywhere else.

This is actually my second trip to Pop Century. The first was in 2012. This time, I went with my 25-year-old son to celebrate his birthday. The resort actually has not changed much in 11 years, however; all of the rooms have had a complete overhaul since our last visit. The carpet has been removed and the room was very clean, albeit a bit small. It was just fine for the two of us. Lots of storage and cubby holes for your bits and pieces and plenty of places to charge your electronics. There is a queen-sized bed as well as a Murphy Bed that folds out into another queen-sized bed. When the Murphy bed was put away, it provided a table. It was a great space saver. There were more than enough pillows and the beds were quite comfortable; we both slept very well. The resort was informed that my son would be celebrating his birthday, and when we first entered the room, the television had a personalized birthday greeting for him! It was a lovely touch! The bathroom also got a nice facelift with the bathtub/shower and toilet separated by a pocket door from the sink. There is a closet with hangers in the bathroom as well. I was able to put all of my clothes in there and get changed in private, which was great as it afforded my son and I the privacy we needed. In the shower, there are three dispenser bottles attached to the wall. One filled with body wash and the other two were shampoo and conditioner. I used the shampoo and conditioner once and it really dried my hair out. I don't recommend those. In the bathroom, there is also a hairdryer, an iron and ironing board provided. The room also supplies a coffee maker with Joffrey's coffee, sugar, sweetener and creamer. There is also a fridge and ice bucket. In the room and throughout the resort, there is air conditioning and complimentary WiFi. No trouble with the internet connection whatsoever. There was room cleaning only every other day, but since it was just two of us and we were away from the resort most of the day, it wasn't a big deal. Our room had a pool view. We stayed in the 1950's section. (Room 2722 - close to the lift) This is a great section to stay in if you want some more peace and quiet as it is not the "main" pool at the resort. The "Hippie Dippy pool in the 1960's section is the biggest pool where all the activities are. The 1960's section is also closest to the main building where the food court, gift shop, and other amenities are. If you wish to be close to the building and all the action, the 1960's section is the place to be. The 1950's section has a bowling theme, and the swimming pool is in the shape of a giant bowling pin. Oversize bowling pins also surround the stairwells. Each section has giant structures that represent iconic items of its decade (ie. the 1980's has Rubik's cubes, the 70's area has eight track tapes, etc.) It may seem cheesy to some, but my son and I really loved it. The Food Court was your typical cafeteria style and set up with various stations, each serving some different but similar foods. In the middle of the Food Court is a refrigerated area for quick to-go items and drinks. There is one central checkout area everyone uses. The food isn't bad, but it can get a bit frenetic around breakfast time when everyone is trying to eat and get out the door. It is open until 11:00. Lots of time to grab a snack after a day in the Parks. The Skyliner is a welcome addition since our last visit to Pop Century. A wonderful way to get to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. As well, there are plenty of busses that still go to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom, and we never had a long wait for those at all. The resort overall is playful, colourful, family friendly and excellently. maintained. The cast members that I interacted with were friendly and helpful. This is a Value Resort and some people who are accustomed to higher end, luxury resorts may find it lacking in some areas, but for us, it was perfect. I would definitely recommend and stay there again.

We recently visited Pop Century at Disney World. We have visited disney many times before and this is our first time staying at at budget disney resort. Because of the sky liner we decided to give this resort a shot. We were disappointed from the get go. Once we made the reservation we were given the option to chose what building we wanted to stay in and and link up with out family via my disney experience app so we could be near each other. It also asked what time we were arriving. Despite filling in all of this information we were all over this large hotel and our rooms were not all ready when we arrived. When we questioned why we were 8 buildings away from each other a gal named Mallory at the front desk was rude, dismissive and didnt even look at her computer to see if she could help. The building is made of painted concrete block and literally looks likes a brightly painted motel 6. The rooms are so small you have to leave your stroller outside. So small that if you have more than two people you will be miserable. There is no where to sit or put anything. To get around the side of the not king bed ( even though we requested that) you had to stand sideways and shimmy to get into bed. The bed was not even a queen size.... more like a camper queen. There was a small fridge but it did not keep things cold. There is no microwave. The bathroom came with a shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers. The toliet paper and tissue are one ply and rough. The towels are thin, rough and cheap. There is no room service and the maidservice comes every other day. There are three basic pools with a good amount of seating. There is no food service at the pool and one poolside bar with two bar stools. There are a couple laundromatts with easy to pay washer and dryers. The food courts food was the equivalent of a school cafeteria and they serve the same food everyday... Overall the Pop Century was a disapppointment. I understand that it is a budget hotel. What I didnt understand was budget at disney was so uncomfortable. This is a bare bones hotel. If you can stay at a moderate disney hotel instead I would recommend it. The moderate hotels we have stayed at were much nicer and more comfortable.

Treated myself to a week at WDW for my birthday this year followed by a week in Anaheim to hang out at Disneyland/DCA. As with any Disney resort, always a treat. Skyliner has been a game changer since I first tried it in 2021 and I've always stayed at a resort that has it since. This resort is great for kids..awesome nostalgic vibes with iconic items from the decades 50s-90s

Love it here! We stayed in the 50s and had a great time! Skyliner was a great way of getting about even as a wheelchair user. Staff were always friendly and the mousekeeping was great! The food wasn't great but you could get deliveries from most big grocery stores and take aways. The water in the pool was nasty so we didn't really use the pools but went to the water parks instead. The busses are easy to use too. Keep an eye out for the squirrels and rabbits.
