David was excellent at the front desk . Great customer service will definitely visit again. Great lobby area and great hotel. Roof top is amazing great drinks and great atmosphere. Please visit….be back ..
This is a great location for attending events in downtown Orlando. The employees were very helpful and friendly. They were having issues with the key reader system so checkin took a while and we had to be let in our room. Stuff happens. The room had ear plugs provided which is usually not a good sign. The hotel is right next to I4 but it wasnt too bad. The $18 buffet breakfast was just continental. No eggs, waffles or breakfast meats. Wouldn't get it next time around.
The amount of personal care and attention here was amazing. From the front desk staff (Lille even going out of her way to email me) and especially the house keeping staff!! Bernardo went out of his way for me in a really big way to help me surprise my boyfriend and even the newest employee Ronda with her kindness! This is the friendliest place I have ever stayed and I really don’t want to leave. Thank you all!!
Good location, good environment but bad elevator service that eats away your valuable time. The hotel is good, service could have been better. 1. They didn't provide me with a toothpaste in the room which was pretty usual for a hotel like this. 2. Water gets out on the floor after a shower. It's a design flaw. 3. Noise from the road down below is also an annoyance and a challenge for you to sleep at night. 4. But the most annoying part is the slowest elevator service ever in the world. They have 3 elevators but everytime you want to go down, you need at least 10 minutes. The worst part of the hotel in my experience.
David from the front desk was great, very knowledgeable, sweet and caring! He also gave us lots of recommendations! Thank you! Made our stay extra special! Hotel is located in the heart of Orlando, close to by Bach of great restaurants and bars! Highly recommend! Views are spectacular!
Lot of negatives with this stay: - Get to room and it’s over 80 degrees (really the maid didn’t notice), turn down the temp and go to lunch, get back and still over 80. Call front desk, said someone would be there in 5 minutes, I call an hour later - new person who doesn’t know what happened, finally maintenance guy shows up and fixes it - 4 days later get back from day out at 4pm and it’s 80 degrees again. Call front desk, they send up a tech who doesn’t know how to fix, but she fiddles with some stuff and says she will check before she goes home (yeah right), get back from dinner, still 80 degrees. Front desk says sorry, can’t resolve the situation (even though I gave them an option at no cost to them). So had spend a very uncomfortable night. - Other negatives include VERY loud traffic noise (they give you ear plugs), very thin toilet paper, no Kleenex in the bath room, the shower slide door doesn’t stay shut so water sprays all over the bathroom (I called, but they didn’t fix. - Crazy bad service for what wants to be a high end hotel.…
David At the front desk is wonderful! Great hotel and staff. Easy check in and the bar at top roof is great for social gatherings and networking opportunities. The rooms are nice and spacious. The gym is wonderful too!
This hotel was 10/10! I loved my stay so much. Eboni and David were both so amazing. The room was clean. Service was great. Room service also left a cute towel on the bed. The sky lounge was a vibe. Everyone was so helpful. I would definitely come back.
First time staying at an AC brand hotel - pleasantly surprised by the quality of amenities and accommodations. The Marriott staff was courteous and friendly as always. Convenient location for sporting events at all of the downtown venues. Room was nice and clean with a view of the stadiums. Breakfast is served in the lobby area and there is a really nice outside seating area. Valet parking was prompt and courteous even during rush - these guys need more room to move cars in and out. Lobby is on the 18th floor and there can be issues with only having 2 elevators servicing the guest floors. Be patient and you will be fine. Do like the key swipe requirement for security to upper floors.
As a reference, I am a Titanium Elite member and have stayed numerous nights with Marriott. This stay was by far one of the most memorable hotels I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing. Everything was extremely clean and displayed a very modern elegant design. The rooftop view is second to non and is worth the stay on its own. Of all the great amenities, what made the stay for me was the customer service. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting David at the front desk and never have I had anyone so welcoming and striving to make my stay one to remember. Not only was he very respectful and considerate, but he addressed any requests I had immediately. This was my wife and I’s first stay after getting married and he truly made it one to remember. I highly recommend this hotel and ask for David at the front desk to assist you!…
