As part of airline crew - pilot, i traveling all over the world and staying with my crew in many many kind of hotels. One month ago I found amazing hotel called Cambria Hotel (part of Choice Hotel) by International Airport. From the moment I enter the hotel I was amazed first by impressive and impeccable design and cleanliness and the amenities starts at the lobby and continuing at the beautiful amazing rooms. I went to the front desk for check in and I was greeted by truly professional helpful and super kind front office agent called Shanique, she controlled the front desk by herself the whole time (including answering kindly to each phone calls ) and continuing giving to each guest the best service I can ever saw, more than that each time I come to the front desk and she was there she treated every every request with the most professional way. Besides Shanique there is another beautiful lady who is working at the lobby, her name Mrs, Margery always working with a smile and ready to help with all she could. I truly recommend to each visitor who arrives to Orlando check the Cambria Hotel by Orlando International Airport. The hotel truly a shining there like a diamond 💎 among all the hotels around including the most expensive and luxury once who charges triple time for the same and even more amazing customer service experience. Thank you!…
We are frequent travelers, and often one hotel fades into another. Not this gem. We’ve never seen a more attractive and unique decor in a 3 star hotel. Interior design = A+. Modern, yet relaxing feel. Elegant but not pretentious. And the bed? Forget about it. Like sleeping on a cloud. Luxurious linens and bathroom towels you’d expect at the Four Seasons. We were only there for 6 hours, so didn’t get to enjoy the many lobby amenities. Next trip to Orlando, we’ll be back. Front desk manager was exceedingly polite and attentive. Only a couple of miles to the airport. Highly recommend.
I stayed at the Cambria Hotel near Orlando Airport on Friday night February 18th. The hotel and my room were attractive, but hardly a good value at nearly $300 (including tax). The staff was mostly polite, but lacked personality and any semblance of enthusiasm for their jobs. Worse, I requested a wake up call, which I never received. Fortunately, I had set my phone alarm as a backup.
We had a nice stay before and after our cruise. Go port picked us up at this hotel. Our only issue was when we got in at about 9pm, we waited 45 min for a hotel shuttle and no one came. We did get a shuttle back to the hotel from the airport after our cruise. We had an early flight the next morning so we weren’t able to use the shuttle service the day we left.
The hotel itself is nice and were it not for the staff i would return. I left my hearing aides in the room and called housekeeping to retrieve them and they said they have nothing. I then asked for the housekeeling manager and the guy i talked to laughed and said nothing was turned into me and he doesnt know what room i was in. If they police were calling, he would be able to figure out what room i was in. He said i would have to come call back and ask for Johnny Walker no joke. Their staff could care less about their guests.
Stayed here before a very early flight out of Orlando Pros - Clean, attractive, updated hotel and rooms, 5 minutes from the Orlando airport, quiet Restaurant staff in lobby were friendly and efficient Cons - Rude front desk employee at check-in (I know he was stressed and all alone checking guests in but that is no excuse for rolling his eyes at me and giving a big sigh when I asked for my 2nd reserved room to be charged to couple traveling with us) Lobby restaurant was very noisy and food was not tasty and was served lukewarm NO coffee at early hours - how hard is it to have coffee available in lobby for guests by 5am leaving for early flights? You are an airport hotel! Airport shuttle - doesn’t start service until 6am Again you are an airport hotel - Early Morning flights are a popular thing especially in Orlando - a popular weekend destination (originally booked this hotel because it offers an airport shuttle)…
Travel agent: my client's flight got canceled, so guest was going to miss 1st of 3 nights-- but still staying there. General Manager Christian insisted on charging a penalty. "We're doing you a favor"
This hotel was Very clean, modern. Hardwood floors, comfy beds. Modern bathroom. There was a Bar and restaurant downstairs. Fast food close by. No breakfast included. Nice staff. Clean! Close to airport about 15 minutes away , highway entrance close by.
We booked this property to make our flight easier out of Orlando Airport while traveling with kids. I initially found the hotel on Priceline and saw that they offered Park and Ride services to the airport. I called the hotel directly to inquire as to how the park and ride service worked and the cost. I was provided said information the a front desk representative on the property who then advised me that if we booked directly thru the hotel site, not using a third party provider, that the park and ride was included in the cost. This persuaded to to book direct when the same room would cost us a little more for the night, rather than get the cheaper rate from the third party and pay per day for the parking . Upon checking in, I inquired about what we needed to do to arrange for the park and ride. I went to confirm that it was included in the room rate as I was told, and was informed that it was not. I mentioned to her that I spoke directly with a male rep on the phone and was told that it was. At that point, we had committed to the stay already, so we paid for the service. We were told just to call the hotel when we landed, and the shuttle would come pick us up. Once we arrived make at MCO, I called from the luggage pick up area. I was told we need to go to Terminal A and a specific spot at the ground transportation level. I stated that we were in terminal B. They stated they only pick up in A. Terminal B has a ground transportation level as well. We then trekked our family of 4 across the airport to the A terminal and proceeded to the ground transportation spot that we were told to go to. After the time it took to get there, I called again and advised we were there. No shuttle was waiting for us when we arrived. After waiting a good 20 minutes, I called again. Still no shuttle nor apology or explanation as to why the delay . The hotel is 10 minutes away at best. I made s third call. It was 45 minutes that we waited at that spot before the shuttle arrived to take us back. It was a longer wait than our time in the air from Miami!!! We have used various other park and ride services in the past, and this has never happened between making the customer relocate to another terminal and then wait nearly an hour !! Nothing was said by the manager who answered my call upon arrival. Never would I ever recommend this hotel and service to anyone . I’d appreciate a refund for the park and ride cost for my inconvenience alone, but doubt that would ever occur. The front desk rep who I checked in with said she would pass along the misrepresentation of the costs to management and was surprised that it had happened.…
The rooms are nice if you can get one with working A/C, or they don’t give you the key to someone else’s room (walked in on people in bed)! Loud, aggressive maids. Absolutely HATEFUL woman at front desk. This hotel is a “churn factory.” They just want to kick you out so that they can resell the room ASAP. Had a two-night reservation ( late arrival) and was HATEFULLY kicked out by agressive maid and rude, incompetent front desk clerk after first night. Minimal sleep! Was given room back only after fully dressing, repacking, and demanding to speak to the manager. NO APOLOGIES OR COMPENSATION! Am a choice member! Will NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN! Have never been treated so badly!
