There is nothing bad about this hotel, but there is not very much good either. It is just average. However for the cost I would have expected a bit more however our dollar did not convert to much in US dollars. The hotel check in was smooth and you get given way too much information to absorb. We booked this hotel because it had a family room that slept 5, which is unusal. It did sleep 5 comfortably, with one set of bunk beds, however you comprimise on the bacony as family rooms dont have a balcony. The windows were also being cleaned so our view was blocked. The staff are not very attentative and are not very present. The room is well appointed, however small for a family of five. House keeping never completed everything once (and we stayed for 9 nights). They either forgot to replace the tea, or fill up the shampoo and conditioner which was empty for 3 days, replace the drinking cups, there was always something not done. The hotel shares with 5 other hotels/timeshare so there is a lot of food choice, although most of it not very healthy. A salad is pretty hard to find unless you are dining in the seafood/sushi restaurant. The food in most restaurants was small in size and underwhelming. The hotel is designed for children and not for adults at out all. The pools are very kid friendly but we did find it hard to find towels regularly. There is a lot of choice when it comes to pools as you share with other hotels. Our children are slightly older but still had a good time as they love anything to do with water. My teenager and I not so much. We found the shuttle times to Disneyland inconvenient - pick up was 3ish or 8ish and fireworks at 9 so didnt fit in there. We didnt get the fun shuttle bus driver that we had read so much about in reviews previously. The resort is lovely to walk around and there is a lot to see and at night we saw rabbits and there are signs around advising what the fish are in the lake. I dont really have any tips for this hotel. It is very large, a lot of rooms, a lot of people, light on staff and we hired a car to get around. It is not in a convenient location for public transport, so a car is necessary. They also charge about $30US for parking per day and about $40US for Valet parking…
Loved my stay here! Will return next time! The room was very clean! The hot tub was really nice as well. I cant wait until next time! Definitely look forward to it and maybe can bring my kids to enjoy it to!
The room had dust and hair in just about every corner of the room. The carpet was dirty in appearance and also felt sticky to touch. No daily room cleaning or towel service during stay. Simply put I expected more from a Wyndham branded resort hotel
Jorge brought the juice at Back Bay Pool & Bar. I'm coming back just for Jorge. He's a gem and provided amazing customer service. Order at the bar and enjoy a beautiful view with beautiful people and a great experience. Love it and love this place!
Every person we came into contact with was beyond wonderful. We came here on our honeymoon to visit Disney and this staff helped to make the trip over the top amazing. Jake at the front desk accommodated my request with ease, AND he sent us chocolate covered strawberries and champagne for us on our first night. Our bus driver, Nelson, made every morning to the trip enjoyable and gave us extremely helpful tips as it was our first time here. He gave free waters every morning, knowing the ones in the park cost outrageous amounts, and gave the kids a treat to start their day. The hotel itself is second to none; very clean, several pools and lazy rivers to choose from, and fun events for guests every night of the week. We cannot say enough great things about the hotel and the staff, and will definitely be coming back.…
Coffee and water were not replaced for our second night. We had to call front desk and was told to wait until staff arrived. We were very unhappy with this situation as we had a long day and we’re very tired.
I’d like to shout out Jake, Andresz and Gerard at the front desk for being absolutely professional and accommodating. This is my second time here in four months and they have been excellent. Kudos for hiring a great set of folks!
My wife and I checked in here for the Disney World marathon. There were no coffee cups in the room (or hand soap) the next morning when we ran the race we were told that we would have to come down to the front desk as no one could run up two disposable cups for us, which we did, when we got there we were told that housekeeping has all of the cups locked up (I guess so precious) and we could not have access to any cups even though there is a Starbucks in the lobby and looking just passed their “four diamond award” in the lobby past the check in desk you can clearly see their coffee machine and disposable cups next to it. My wife and I were not rude it was just pure apathy. Hotels a little outdated room wise and small, lobby was adequate .
Overall my experience here has been pretty good so far. However, I have two grumbles. My room itself was clean but the windows are filthy with green mould on the outslde, and quite a bit of litter on the roof tiles just below the window. My second grumble is about the huge amount of single use plastic in the room . All the cups are plastic and sealed in a plastic bag. Whatever happened to real glasses and ceramic mugs? I know that the plastic bag is intended to emphasize that they are "clean" but these days there are more important environmental considerations. And room service delivered a pizza on a plastic plate with plastic cutlery sealed in a plastic bag. Again what happened to real plates with real cutlery? Eating a pizza with plastic cutlery is impossible.
Less expensive than Disney resorts, clean, and comfortable but parking and breakfast buffet were pricey. The lobby coffee shop breakfast is very good and a better value than the buffet. The buffet was tasty but $27 each. The hotel is close to all Disney parks and beds were very comfy. The room had great quiet a/c, NOT a noisy window a/c unit. We did not try out the pool or gym during our stay. Staff was very courteous.
