Best free breakfast of any chain! Free Happy hour bar staff were excellant on the two nights we stayed. Nice room and great location will stay again! The front desk staff were nice to deal with! Has a shared parking lot across from hotel for a fee, esay to park.
From the moment I walked into the hotel until I left my experience was a very positive one. The professional staff was customer-oriented in the performance of their respective duties from the front desk to housekeeping to food & drink service... They are the major reason for the quality of my stay. Look forward to coming back in the future. This week my wife and daughter will be checking in for a week's stay.
The Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando Downtown has some wonderful people working for them! Specifically, Stacy, the front desk supervisor and Magaly, the house-keeping supervisor need to be recognized for their outstanding customer service and just all-around friendliness! I needed to check in as early as possible so that I could get ready for a wedding that afternoon. (Unfortunately, I was at another close by hotel and had to check out early due to it just being gross!) They were so accommodating and had me in my room by 10:30a.m. Magaly saw me at the coffee area shortly after I had gone to my room and asked me if everything was satisfactory with my room and it was more than satisfactory! It was clean, spacious and comfortable! Every time we entered the building, Stacy would ask how we were doing, and just made us feel very welcomed! The breakfast was very good and really every staff member was friendly and accommodating. The beds were comfortable and the location was perfect! If I find myself back in this area, I will only stay at the Embassy Suites!…
Check-in was easy and the staff were all friendly during our stay. Parking is across the street. Self-parking was $22. You bring your ticket with you when you check in and they exchange it for a scan code you use when you exit the lot. There is a valet in the check-in loop if that interests you. The room was clean. The bed was soft. My wife loved the pillows while I did not (all about preference there). There's plenty of room in an Embassy room and we honestly didn't really need all of it this visit. If you're not familiar with one, you have a suite with 2 rooms - 1 with a couch and the other with a bed. Good for a small family or people who are staying for a few days. On to the food. We didn't eat at the restaurant onsite. The complimentary drinks and appetizers was decent. Just aim your expectations at "free" and you'll be fine enough. We had a plastic cup of Cabernet along with some pot stickers and empanadas. It was enough to tide us over until we found a dinner spot. Breakfast was buzzy busy with a lot more people. The buffet line is manned and suitable enough. I opted to pass on the eggs-to-order line based on the line I saw. Overall, Embassy is a good Hilton hotel and this one is a solid stay. Enjoy!…
Very nice and clean suite. I like the beds very much. Super comfortable. Staff are always very friendly and helpful. For me the location is perfect. This was my second stay and I will return again.
So the hotel does feel a little bit dated at times, but other than that this is actually a really great place to stay. The "free" breakfast that is included with your stay is actually quite good and includes pancakes, waffles, muffins, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, grits, biscuits, fruit, yogurt, cereal and omelets made to order with all sorts of ingredients. There was also fresh juice and a decent cup of coffee. The place also has a "free" happy hour in the evening from about 5:30-7:30 with free drinks and snacks such as meatballs, dumplings etc. The rooms are quite spacious, the bed comfortable and the place was generally pretty clean. Our tub was plugged which was a little bit disgusting, but the room itself was quite tidy. We also used the pool, which although not as clean as the room (it had a lot of leaves in it) was still pretty decent for this time of year. The location is great if you want to be right downtown. We walked everywhere and you are literally just a block from Lake Eola. Having said that... this is a rough area of Orlando and there is a lot of homelessness and mental health issues present. Finally the staff... I wouldn't say that they were "bad" or "rude" but I also wouldn't really say that they went above and beyond. In fact they looked tired and bored most of the time. So ya... a couple of great things here such as the breakfast and happy hour, but also a few things that make you go... huh? …
It was nice missing few items in the room but besides that it was nice I don’t like paying $22 a night to park away from the actual hotel but I guess, but other wise breakfast was amazing room was clean, one front desk lady was so rude too me twice she worked 2/9/23 that morning
The location of this hotel is perfect. The rooms are so spacious and comfortable. The staff was so helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was a treat for sure. We enjoyed walking around Lake Eola, as well as the many restaurants. All around great stay!!
A great hotel, with spacious, clean rooms and pleasant staff. The central atrium, where the great, made-to-order breakfast was served, is a very nice, open air space. We will stay here again when jn the Orlando area.
The staff was so nice! After a 2 hour flight that was delayed for 6 hours we finally arrived at the hotel after midnight with 3 small children. When I mentioned that it had been a long night and the children were hungry on the plane the staff offered to have us food delivered while we settled into our rooms. The room was clean, the staff was helpful and friendly and the bed was comfortable. Perfect stay! Next time I’m in Orlando this is where my home away from home will be.
