This is a nice property that has rustic charm and a wilderness feel with huge wooden beams throughout. The staff was friendly, location was good, overall we enjoyed our stay. As with many of the DVC hotels with interior finishes of the rooms are a...More
Stayed at boulder ridge villas for 6 days and had a great stay. We went through davids to get the points to stay. Room was nice and renovated. Bed was decently comfortable. We stayed in a studio and there was plenty of room for 2...More
We waited for a couple of years ti come back so that the renovations would be done.
It was a great idea.
Wow, what a new look this is.
The changes they made to the villas pool are amazing.
Geyser point restaurant look great.
Just arrived with a 1.5 and a soon to be 3 yr old. Loving the decor and updated room so far! It's been raining and the little guy needed an AP so no exploring yet. Just love the decor and ambiance! We normally stay at...More
This was not my first time staying at this resort but it was my first time with the new pool in the dvc area. This is meant to be a quiet pool but there were many people in the pool I'm sure because it was...More

I've seen them in the past here and other resorts but not on this past trip. I believe the hotel is on conservation land and its next to a big lake. So yes there is snakes and it's Florida (there's gators and snakes everywhere). Just need to be on the lookout (read the signs posted) and you should be fine. I've traveled to Disney over 40 times and never had an issue. Have you been to Florida before?
Hi, honestly, I have never had a bad one! Depends on what you like. I have stayed on first floor, second floor, close to lobby, farthest from lobby - all are good! If you like it there, I don't think you can go wrong... More

If you like it there, I don't think you can go wrong. I'm a DVC member - just bought more points at Copper Creek - Disney's new Wilderness units at the Lodge. This place is my favorite anywhere. Have fun!

The boat to Magic Kingdom is quite a walk from the Villas, but the ride is neat compared to the buses. The bus pick up/drop off is near the Villas, but with a double stroller and a toddler I didn't like the buses. I had to break down the stroller, with two kids in tow. No fun. Next time we will be staying off the Monorail. Otherwise I liked the Wilderness Lodge. We did use Uber a couple of times to get to the parks, such as our day at Animal Kingdom. They stopped at a convenience store on the way for us too.
