This place was everything we could've hoped for!!! Check in was breezy and took about 5 minutes. Restaurants were good, just wish they were open a little later, as we sometimes didn't get back from the parks until 10:30 or later. The buses were one...More
Myself and my family, total of 7, stayed for a week in the Villas. Room was recently refurbished and was very nice. Beautiful view of Bay Lake and the water pageant in the evenings from our balconies. Entire complex was huge with wonderful décor. My...More
Villas are very clean and very quiet. Nice to hang out by the smaller pool. Room could have been a little bigger but at Disney how much are you really in the room? Wish there was another restaurant on premise. My biggest complaint was transportation....More
We are Disney Vacation Club members trying out this resort for the first time. We've stayed at Animal Kingdom (3 times) and Bay Lake Towers once. I have to say this was our least favourite of the three but beautiful nonetheless. I loved the lobby...More
From the moment we entered until we left it was great. The people were very helpful and the room was great. Our room had everything we needed and was comfortable and clean. This is why I stay with Disney. My son and I had a...More

I've seen them in the past here and other resorts but not on this past trip. I believe the hotel is on conservation land and its next to a big lake. So yes there is snakes and it's Florida (there's gators and snakes everywhere). Just need to be on the lookout (read the signs posted) and you should be fine. I've traveled to Disney over 40 times and never had an issue. Have you been to Florida before?
Hi, honestly, I have never had a bad one! Depends on what you like. I have stayed on first floor, second floor, close to lobby, farthest from lobby - all are good! If you like it there, I don't think you can go wrong... More
Hi, honestly, I have never had a bad one! Depends on what you like. I have stayed on first floor, second floor, close to lobby, farthest from lobby - all are good! If you like it there, I don't think you can go wrong. I'm a DVC member - just bought more points at Copper Creek - Disney's new Wilderness units at the Lodge. This place is my favorite anywhere. Have fun!

The boat to Magic Kingdom is quite a walk from the Villas, but the ride is neat compared to the buses. The bus pick up/drop off is near the Villas, but with a double stroller and a toddler I didn't like the buses. I had to break down the stroller, with two kids in tow. No fun. Next time we will be staying off the Monorail. Otherwise I liked the Wilderness Lodge. We did use Uber a couple of times to get to the parks, such as our day at Animal Kingdom. They stopped at a convenience store on the way for us too.
