Hilton Vacation Club Cypress Pointe Orlando is celebrated for its spotless environment and convenient location near Disney attractions, as acknowledged by many travelers. Guests commend the polite and attentive staff, as well as the spacious and comfortable accommodations, despite some calls for room updates and renovations.
While the hotel's amenities are generally appreciated, including the pools and access to sister resort facilities, there are remarks regarding the need for modernization and issues with pool temperature. Although reasonably priced, some guests question the value, citing outdated facilities and occasional noise and water pressure problems.

Detailed Reviews
We stayed here during June 2020 which was during Covid 19 times. The resort was very clean, check in was easy. We reserved a 3 bedroom condo which is a 2 bedroom with a 1 bedroom lockoff. The entire condo was very nice, we loved the screened in balcony. The living room furniture was very uncomfortable to sit on so we spend most of our time on the porch. We did not have any trouble using the pool but it was not very busy during this time and they were wiping the tables down after someone got up. We were bummed the grill, tennis court, and basketball area was not open. I really appreciated the security at night. When we arrived our hot water had been turned off because the resort was closed for a while but maintenance was quick to fix this. I would stay here again hopefully once things resume to normal. It is close to Disney and a lot of things in this area are still closed but it was a quick drive to other areas.

This resort is awesome. It is situated on a huge compound with multiple apartments .
It is in a convenient location also , walking distance to many food places, Walgreens, gas station and larger super market a little further.
The surroundings are well kept, there is a cafe , swimming pool with water slide and water fountain. Also there is a tennis court, mini area for a game similar to golf and a chess play area for kids.
There is also a lake with ducks.
The apartments are really nice, we rented a 2 bedroom which came with living room and kitchenette with all utensils and amenities and 2 bathrooms. The air condition is centralised.
There is a smart tv in both bedrooms and living room. There is also an ironing board and a combo washer and dryer.
The staff is friendly and helpful.
This resort is just 7 minutes from Disney (Magic Kingdom) and in close proximity to other parks such as Epcot, Universal Studios, Fun Spot, Gatorland, Sea Aquarium , Titanic Artifacts, Walmart and so much more.
We rented a mini van which was equipped with GPS and car seat if you have a kid. It drove like a brand new vehicle and was very well kept. This was easy to obtain at the airport and was not difficult top drive there.
All of this and it's very affordable.

My family recently stayed in a two bedroom condo at Cypress point resort. Our room was phenomenal. Not a speck of dust to be found. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials including an adorable miniature salt and pepper shaker. The oversized soaker tub in the master bedroom was a bonus. We would absolutely stay here again. Loved everything about this place!

We really enjoyed our stay at Cypress Pointe. The room was well kept but the layout for the third bedroom was a little different ( shower and tub were exposed to the entire bedroom). Make sure you read the room description and look at pictures before booking a three bedroom condo. We were primarily using our room as a place to sleep as we bounced from theme park to theme park so we didn’t explore all the amenities of the resort. We enjoyed our time at the pool and hot tub. The menu at the cafe/snack bar looked good but we opted to go out for dinner on our free night. The resort is a time share resort, but after a simple “no thank you,” we were not pressured into a presentation.
The only thing I was disappointed in was the shuttle schedule to the theme parks. The resort fee includes the shuttle and that was a major selling point for us because we wouldn’t have to spend money on parking at the parks. We were given the shuttle schedule when we arrived and, after looking at the times, were very disappointed. The shuttle went to each area park once in the morning and once in the evening. For the parks we were going to, the morning time was 30-60min after the park opened and the evening time was well before the park closed for the evening. We wanted to maximize our time at the parks (because we all know they aren’t cheap) so we chose not to use the shuttle and add the unplanned expense of parking. Overall, we had a very positive experience and this didn’t ruin or trip, it would have been nice to know earlier.

The studio is basically separated from a suite by a single door with a deadbolt. We walked in and literally heard every word of conversation from the people staying in the suite. We could hear the baby babbling. Forget it when the baby cried! When we called the front desk agreed the walls are thin and you can hear, but that is just the way it is. They offered to move us to another room, but they were sold out, so the only other option was a studio with 2 children in the adjoining suite. I've never been in such a strange situation before. Typically, adjoining rooms have a double door in between. We left after spending an hour working with the booking agent for a refund. What a mess on Valentine's night after a day at Disney!

The complex is run by people who genuinely do not wish to help which is extremely strange, it feels like whatever you expect, such as to have a clean room on arrival, is too much for them.
Guests blast music at all hours and take drugs on the property night after night and there is no recourse. It feels very unsafe here and staff are completely uninterested in offering solutions or support and we have found exceptionally rude and disrespectful when issues are raised. It’s a very strange environment to be in, it feels like the antithesis of a “vacation resort” and like you’re not really supposed to be here interrupting staff members’ days in any way.
There have been serious security concerns raised here and no one has done anything about it despite this continuing for several nights in a row. Very disappointed, will not be returning or recommending.
Rooms are tired and dirty, taps are hanging off in bathroom, carpets are ripped, mattresses are filthy and stained (we have seen them being removed from beds and carried around the property), everything is damaged and marked and dreary.
This property needs an overhaul, and staff that actually care about the safety and security of guests. There are no elevators so all suitcases must be hauled up and down multiple flights of stairs. Pool and hot tub are filthy. Windows in rooms are bizarre with huge bright lights shining in and blinds which do not fit.
Don’t come to Cypress Pointe if you want to sleep or a relaxing break.

Responded 29 May 2022
We did apologize that you did like the initial suite you reserved and provided an upgrade that better suited your needs and have addressed every issue you complained about in the first couple of days of your stay. The team even offered to assist in finding accommodations at our sister resort next door if that would make you happy but you did not like those either. The mattresses you saw being removed were from a sofa bed, not a regular bedroom as those do have to be removed routinely as they are not meant to last as long as regular ones. Since that time we have sent the Executive Housekeeper over to make sure that the cleanliness after each stay-over clean was satisfactory and you said yes so we can only presume that you had a bad couple of days but have now settled in to enjoying your stay with us, which is what we hope.

We stayed at this resort in January of 2023 for two weeks. We traded into the resort through RCI. Overall, the resort is in a spot convenient to many amenities, theme parks, etc. That said, there was a daily traffic jam on Apopka Vineland (535) toward I-4 in the late afternoon/evening. Plan accordingly.
Pros: There was a Win Dixie and several restaurants within walking distance and many other places to eat within 5-10 minute drive. The resort grounds were clean and well maintained. We stayed in a three-bedroom unit with each bedroom having its own bathroom. One bedroom was like a studio suite with a mini kitchen, mini balcony, and its own outside entrance. The inside of the unit, while a bit dated, was clean and functional. The bed in the main bedroom was sagging a bit. The water pressure in the sink and shower of the main bedroom was very low. It would take five minutes just to get warm water much less hot. The other showers seemed okay. A washer and dryer were also in the unit, but were only good for very small, light loads.
The towels and linens were a high quality with backups too. Nice beach towels were provided in the unit. Though paper products and starter packs of shampoo, dish soap, tea, coffee filters and two coffee packets, etc. were provided, this resort also charged a hefty daily amenity fee. We have had a timeshare and traded into other timeshares for 30 years, but this amenity fee was a first for us. Maybe a post pandemic result?
Cons: There was no elevator in Building #4 and several other buildings. Our room looked out on a large area of pool filter machinery which was very noisy. We were right next to a main road which was especially noisy during rush hours. We could not enjoy being out on the balcony because of the noise level.
The pool was nice and well maintained. That said, we were frequently distracted from a relaxing time by staff performing maintenance around the pool, i.e. leaf blower, power washing lounge chairs, etc. Unbelievably, the resort conducted “pool filter maintenance” at 3:30 am with the staff yelling back and forth to each other, letting the gate to the pool area slam shut multiple times, and dragging large containers across the cement.
The hot tub was right outside our room and had a dozen or so people out there every night until late evening. The moral is, avoid a unit in building #4.

Although we do not have elevators on our property, our team is always happy to assist with bringing your items up to your room or down from your room. We do hope to welcome you back in the near future, and when you do come back, please reach out to a member of our staff and request a location further away from the pool so that you may enjoy a more quiet location on your next vacation. Thank you again for your review. We hope to welcome you back soon!

Great pool! Nothing like the Florida sun beaming down to make a pool all the more attractive! It was also a very spacious and well-maintained pool. We enjoyed the screen being on the outside of the porch so we could sit on it protected. However we can not recommend the cafe, poor quality food. And if staying multiple days, you have to contact housekeeping to deliver items as they only clean rooms between stays and not during stays.

We are staying at the hotel right now. The pool area is super nice, and clean. I love that the resort has so many things to do- I feel like if you didn’t have passes for parks everyday you could fill your other days of your trip hanging out here and be happy.
Very close to Disney and Disney springs.
So here is the downside:
This place is not set up for couples. It’s definitely a family resort. Our studio room was an adjoining room. Normally this doesn’t bother me at all in a hotel. But there have been numerous instances in our trip where I have woken up because I thought someone was in our room talking; then I realized it’s actually the suite next to us. There is a huge gap under the door so I could hear all conversations very clearly. Even when they are just talking at a regular volume. I know one family left and another family came in during our stay. That was how clearly I could hear them- that I even recognize their voices! Today we wanted to sleep in a little, but now I am woken up at 6am because they are up now.
If you do choose to come here, I think get the whole suite with multiple bedrooms. Then it is great and you won’t be disturbed constantly by neighbors. There was no way of knowing that the studio was part of the other suite when we booked, otherwise I wouldn’t have booked.

This is my second stay at this resort. Both times I have been impressed by the friendliness of all of the staff. Check=in & out was very easy. I love that they offer a texting service where you can text the front desk with anything you need and they take care of it quickly. The resort fees are affordable. Parking is free. The bed was comfortable and the room had everything we needed. The pool is great if you use that feature. My main complaint is the noise. All room doors are on the stairwell so you hear every person who goes up and down the stairs. If someone choose to use the washer/dryer it is also right next to the rooms so you hear the rumble as if it is coming through the wall. For the price, we made it work, but if noise is a big factor in your stay, you should take this into consideration. I would not have a problem staying here again. It is close to Disney and right next to Giordano's pizza, a gas station, and a drugstore.

No, the coffee makers take ground coffee with filters.
I recommend you call Cypress Pointe. I did not use the shuttles.
In the bigger rms (suites)
Offer is not the word, more like force. U must hear their schpiel about it when getting ur parking pass (seperate desk)
Their only shuttle service is to the parks and that has a very limited time schedule.
