Cash is fine and I prefer it that way rather than having them place a hold on my card. We left a $100 bill for each room and they just clip it to your registration sheet and give it back to you when you leave!

Hi, we got the hotel shuttle most of the time.. it did leave early but got you to the Disney parks to be first in the queue, this way you could spend the whole day and make the most of your time in the parks. You can also get the local buses that are very frequent and will take you to the Disney parks, or sea world etc. The I ride buses come along every 10 minutes and go up and down International Drive. It's cheapest to buy a weekly bus pass then you can just jump on and off when you want. Universal Studios is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel, very easy to get to and from. We had 6 in our party including a child and didn't miss not having a car at all, it was fun using local transport and walking around. Whatever you decide, I hope you have a wonderful time, it is a magical experience.
