I visited this hotel 3/16/23 thru 3/19/23. The staff was adequate. The concerns that I have are: The paid parking of $28.00 per night is pretty steep considering the price being paid for the room. Additionally, it would be nice to know that the only amenities that guests are provided are coffee, tea, and water. Lastly, I was astonished of how thin the walls were as we could hear toilets flushing, doors closing and conversations going on. I would also be remiss if I didn't say how startled I was when my wife observed an insect in the bathroom.
I've stayed here twice and had the same experience both times. The hotel location is good, the layout and furnishings are great and this would seem to be a fantastic option for travelers. However , the odor of marijuana in this hotel is overwhelming. My last stay I awoke at 2am and it was so strong I thought someone was smoking in my room. Complained to the front desk who promptly did nothing while I was unable to sleep due to being irritated by the smoke. I understand this isn't the fault of their hotel but seems like they have an issue and should hire security or charge a cleaning fee for those guests who wish to partake and ruin others experience.
In town for NCAA tournament. Hotel is in a great location and has a modern vibe. The hotel staff was awesome - the front desk (dog bones provided). housekeeping, room service and the valet crew all went out of their way to be friendly and supportive. Would definitely stay here again.
As a frequent business traveler, I can honestly say that my experience was beyond exceptional. The test of a great property and staff is we you need assistance and get it - immediately. Your Guest Service Manager, Joel came through! He helped me get some critical documents printed and was genuinely happy to help. It may seem like a small thing but in my world it was huge. His level of service is outstanding. Knowing help is there when you need it sure establishes loyalty! Thank you, Joel!
Absolutely amazing stay. The hotel's location is right across the street from the Arts Center and walking distance to the Amway center. There's plenty of restaurants, a 7-11, and Walgreens within walking distance as well. The rooms were spotless and looked brand new. Everything worked as it should. Not even a mark on the walls or furniture. Our room was well over 600sqft and spacious. But..the star of the show are the staff. Every single staff member we interacted with couldn't do enough for us. Valet, front desk, bartender, housekeeping, maintenance. All of them were absolutely top-notch. Mind you, this is a "limited service" hotel, but they were providing an experience well above what many "full service" hotels offer. As I was rolling out the luggage cart from the room to the car, a maintenance man insisted on helping me take it to the car. On top of that, he absolutely refused to take a tip, and I offered many times. We'll definitely be back. …
My mom and I stayed one night so that we could attend a show at the performing arts center across the street. This Aloft location was perfect for us to be able to just walk across the street to see our show. The valet parking was so helpful and the woman who helped us in valet was so great. Everything was GREAT. The hotel is so nice and clean and super cute decor. The person at the front desk when we arrived was SO helpful. He set us up with dinner recommendations in the area that we were also able to walk to. I am so mad at myself for forgetting his name…such a great guy! The room was SO quiet.. I don’t know if I’ve ever stayed in a quieter hotel! The beds were very comfortable and loved the extra pillows provided. We booked a smaller room but it was still very spacious. The next day we enjoyed the pool before check out. It was very nice too. Ana was at the front desk when we checked out and she was absolutely amazing. I was also so impressed to learn about the dog adoptions that take place here. I give this hotel an 11 out of 10 …
Hotel was very clean. Great location to Dr. Phillips Center and restaurants. Darren checking us in was very nice, polite and professional. Happy hour at the bar was a nice extra. Room was comfortable and clean. My only complaint would be the water in the shower was not that hot. Overall excellent place to stay.
I have traveled for 10+ years of my career. I have been checked in to 100+ hotels over the years. Derek at Aloft created the best check in I have ever experienced. He was kind, efficient, happy and engaged! The room is great, but Derek makes the place.
I arrived late Tuesday and upon arrival, I was greeted with a smile the young lady that checked me in was extremely professional and friendly Nathaly went above and beyond. I am always traveling and it is really nice to see a friendly smiling face at the end of a long day.
This is one of the most welcoming hotels I get to stay at. The valet service is great as are the desk people. As a Platinum Marriott member the welcome and service is a mixed bag. Not so at this hotel though. Always top notch.
