We had arranged a family reunion With 24 people at the hotel I booked a three bedroom villa for 9 days and later made a reservation for a two bedroom villa so I could accommodate some of my family that came only for a weekend. The rest of our family members made their own reservations. When we checked out the Marriott decided to credit the shorter stay for points even though it was booked after the nine days stay which I paid in advance. What I didn’t understand is that the management had no issue ignoring the dates and rewarding my loyalty by at least crediting the nine days which were where I personally stayed. I have been a member for a while and I was so disappointed that they didn’t even take their time to credit the longer and earlier booking. I am sure they may not find my contribution to their bottom line worthwhile but I will certainly evaluate my loyalty to a brand that does not care if they shortchange me as a customer.…

Arrival was smooth. Check in process was quick and the front desk staff very helpful. We stayed in a 3-bedroom refurbished villa. Looks really nice just like the pictures. Bed was incredibly comfortable. The hotel amenities were fantastic with a nice pool and fitness centre. Also we had shuttle access to the bigger pool at Marriott Word Center hotel. Both pools were not crowded and it was a relief to have most of it to ourself. We did have an issue with the hot water in the bathroom but maintenance respoonded very quickly to resolve it. Overall I would highly recommend this Marriott resort for anyone who is looking for a nice relaxed vacation in a non crowded resort.

Husband and I are on a business trip. We booked this conference last min. All convention rooms were sold out. We wanted to find the closest accommodations without sacrificing comfort. Not only are we actually closer to the Marriott Orlando World Convention center than those at the hotel, but we are more impressed with these rooms! The convenience is beyond. Full kitchen (totally stocked). Gorgeous balcony with lake views. 3 bedrooms and 2 baths for less than the cramped hotel room we would have had! Beautiful grounds. Must have been remodeled recently because everything is perfect . Washer/dryer - new! Kitchen appliances and stocked utensils cookware - new. Check in was simple and the young woman checking us in was so pleasant. Overstocked with towels and linens and pillows. I literally have zero complaints. It has turned us into not only raving fans of this property but makes us want to check out more Marriott Vacay Properties. You have to be ok with no room service, irregular housekeeping (they said every other day - ok), very little toiletries and self parking . But the benefits that come with having so much space (I feel so guilty that one room isn’t being used at all!!) and the convenience of being able to make my own breakfast and snacks and cocktails has been awesome! We will definitely be back!…

We needed a villa for several people. It was my son's graduation weekend. This was perfect. There were 3 bedrooms. One bedroom had a pullout sofa. The kitchen was very large and so was the living area. The staff was great and the room resort was very clean.

The imperial palms was absolutely an amazing place to stay. We stayed July 2nd thru the 9th. The room was fabulous, clean, and appeared updated well. The grounds and pools are kept in excellent shape. We grilled many meals and every time I opened a grill it was like it was brand new, cleaned after every use. We utilized the World center next door for swimming, food, ice cream and activities. There is a shuttle on demand which is only about a 5 min wait tops or you can walk it. Our family enjoyed the moderate walk and did it almost daily. The front desk was always courteous and re-stocked the supplies we needed (dishwasher soap, shampoo, lotion) and the market place there has many options for purchase that are also reasonable. This resort resembles the resorts I use to visit in Cancun and Punta Cana and is so relaxing but also offers so much to do. The pools and whirlpools are cleaned daily. The entire staff is so friendly and hardworking. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family or anyone else. I have no negative comments as I could find nothing that did not meet or exceed my expectations. A vacation resort I hope to visit again.…

I must say that I really enjoyed my stay for 7 days at this property. The reason for selecting this property was due to size and the ability to accommodate my family. The big down size is after 7 days with zero cleaning services, we learned really quickly that I became the housekeeper and toilets, bathroom showers, floors in the kitchen and shower floors needed cleaning, toilets, etc. There was no cleaning supplies supplied to do a cleaning for this purpose. I do not feel as if I enjoyed our vacation nor did my husband. The manager Ryan at the front desk was amazing and supplied items needed to clean dishes, dishwasher and laundry detergent but did express due to heighten covid numbers in Florida the tidy service was discontinued but will reinstate in September possibly. Had I known that there was no tidy services offered, I would have selected another alternative that offered this service. I did offer to pay for this service, but it was not an option. I will do better research beforehand as I must have not seen this on the website prior to check in. Again, I enjoyed the property, very nice room and spacious. The shower floor was a tad worn, but other than that. It was an awesome property, check in was smooth. Upon Check out, they will call you and harass you to check out at 10am if you are 1 minute late. The lady that phone is at 10:01am was pushy and not nice that we were still in our room after 10:01am. The cleaning lady rang our door bell at that time as well and informed us that we needed to check out and that she will need to call the front desk. I was stunned to see how aggressively it was handled. Lesson learned, there is no Kate check out at this property, but again Ryan at the front desk smoothed it over when I arrived to complain about the treatment we received at checkin and I apologized for checking out beyond 10 am. Other than the check out police and tidy service being non existent, the stay was good, not great due to those two factors.…

We spent a week here as a multi-generation family. The apartments are very clean and well furnished- everything looks new and well thought out. The kitchen is very well equipped and clean. Appliances are in good condition, including the washer-dryer. There are two pools, a tennis court, basketball and pickleball court nearby. Several gas barbecues are available, all immaculate. A shuttle is available on request to the nearby Marriott World Resort, where we had access to the pool and water slide, video game room and restaurants. DisneyWorld is an easy 10 minute drive away. I cannot imagine a better place to stay for a family visiting the Orlando are. Highly recommend!

This is a great off property place to use for a Disney World visit. Very nice 3-bedroom units which shares facilities with the Marriott World Center Resort and the Marriott time share next to it. They have an on-demand shuttle to take you back and forth to the hotel. The staff id friendly.

My family and I stayed here for 6 nights in early February while visiting Disney World. The location was fantastic for this as it is only a few minutes away (near Disney Springs). It is part of the larger Marriott World Center property. It took me several months of monitoring and checking if our week was available for point redemption which it finally became available about 45 days before our trip. No resort or parking fees is a huge perk of staying here. Check in was smooth, our room was ready around 4pm. Just after check in however, we got stuck in the (right) elevator with our cart headed up to the 3rd floor! The elevator just stopped and a light came on that said “Elevator Out of Service”. Buttons did nothing. Pressed alarm and call buttons and got someone who made sure we were fine. After a couple of minutes it seemed to restart and proceeded to go to the 2nd floor and open. Needless to say we all immediately got out. The kids and rest of our group took the stairs and I put the cart in the other elevator, no issues. Took a couple of days before we tried that elevator again, eventually we did and did not have any more issues. The property was very nice and seemed to be well kept. Lots of workers around during the day taking care of rooms and landscaping, even in winter. I should note everyone always smiled and said hello when walking by. Our villa had a nice view of a pond and part of one of the golf courses. The basketball and tennis courts looked brand new and in great condition. We used the small pool by the Imperial Villas building, which worked out great being such a short walk. Used room key to get towel(s) from the towel vending machine, worked great. The lobby building was undergoing some refurbishment which was no big deal since we didn’t spend any time there except for check in. The layout of our villa was perfect for our group of 5. We had 2 younger kids in one bedroom, one adult in the 2nd bedroom, and two adults in the master bedroom. It was great having a full kitchen, table, living room for all 5 of us. The screened in porch in back was a nice plus as well. Our bathrooms were very well stocked with lots of towel sets and the kitchen was as well with trash bags, paper towels, coffee, etc. Our first morning I tried putting trash and recycle outside the door in the morning and was taken care of promptly, so we had no need for housekeeping service(which was upon request only) which worked out fine for us. Some little things in the room were a bit old, some paint peeling in the shower pan, the door was not level, etc but overall everything was fine. Good water pressure for a hotel. You could tell there were updates made like extra power plugs and USB ports on every nightstand, new toilets(even a bidet in the master bath!). A very large 55’’ or so TV in the living area and a fantastic channel like up of over 140 HD channels. On our last full day we took the morning off from Disney and decided to go check out the pools at the main Marriott next door since this was a perk of staying here. Called the lobby and had them tell the shuttle driver to meet us. To our surprise he pulled up in a large 3 row golf cart! Needless to say our boys(age 4 and 5) absolutely loved that! It was a quick 3-4 minute ride over to the Marriott, the driver told us to tell the valet stand when we needed to go back and he would radio him. Easy enough. I saw a regular small bus, I think they probably use that in summer or during peak season. There was a lot of construction going on in the convention wing of the hotel so they don’t want pedestrians walking between the two properties. The pools at the Marriott were awesome! The kids splash area was a huge hit as well. Very nice setup they have with a full bar and small restaurant, large towel hut, tons of chairs, a waterslide tower, kids splash area, huge TVs, waterfalls, etc. I heard they are building even more water park type slides including a lazy river and they are opening in March! All the pools were heated too which was really nice. The air temp was in the upper 70s by the time we left around noon and we did not want to leave! It was so much better than being back at home in the cold Northeast! To be able to use these pools without paying a resort fee was a huge steal and a big hidden secret. Top notch! When we left the driver came back for us having just picked up another family. I didn’t catch his name but he was from France, very nice guy. I had actually stayed at the Marriott in 2015 with my wife for a trip to Disney and remember it being a very long walk to the parking garage, and the rooms here are so much smaller. If you have a family and kids, I would definitely recommend the Imperial Palms over the World Center, it was worth it to have so much more space. If you are visiting without kids or maybe just have 1, the Marriott might work out if you like being on the same property as pools and a restaurant and don’t mind the walk to the parking garage(I did see a garage shuttle). However the Marriott charges nearly $60 daily for the resort fee and parking…. I saw the resort fee was going up $10 or so very soon, presumably to pay off the new water park features… Other than the elevator incident(which could have been a lot worse), we enjoyed our stay and were glad we chose to stay here! If/when we come back to Orlando I will likely stay here again.…

We previously have stayed at other Marriott vacation club locations in Orlando and were anxious about booking Imperial Palm villas as the units were less points than others and due to warnings about construction on the property. What we found was a wonderful, small vacation community with access to all the amenities of the larger Marriott vacation center on property. We had a three bedroom unit with a spacious kitchen, dining room and living room and a lovely screened porch. The unit was recently redone with new furniture and appliances. Our unit was right near the smaller pool with a jacuzzi which we were able to access from 7AM to 11PM. The pools and all the recreational activity areas were well maintained and checked regularly by staff. I cannot say enough about how wonderful and accommodating we found each and every staff to be. From the resort staff to the shuttle driver everyone was focused on ensuring our family had a wonderful time.…
