Food in resort is not too good. Headboards were stained but otherwise clean. Location and transportation were perfect. Pool area, etc. was enjoyable! Front Desk check in and check out was nothing to harp about. They did not provide me with any of my requested accommodations, and I booked months in advance. They also charged me incorrectly at check out, which I had to wait 5 days to get fixed. Overall, I enjoyed my stay though.

A beautiful hotel with superior service. The hotel is exceptionally clean. The beds are comfortable using higher end linens. The restaurants are great with some off the beaten path menu items. But you'll find enough choices to satisfy everyone. There's a giant pool area with cabanas, a bar, and activities. Convenient complimentary water taxi to theme parks and City Walk. Don't skip it. It's an attraction in itself. We were a party of just adults. We felt neither out of place nor overwhelmed with familes. Sapphire Falls is a wonderful theme park resort. We had a perfect stay from check-in to checkout.

We got a 2 bedroom suite, which is spacious and well appointed. I would give the room 5 stars but the service is more like a 3. Little things like not enough umbrellas at the pool, the pool server less than friendly, not knowing how to set down a drink (handing it to you instead), and not easy to find. We asked our server about renting a cabana and were sort of brushed off and told to go check with another employee but the (totally empty) cabana might be reserved. We had a delivery made to the hotel and were told to come get it at the front desk at 10 pm—no offer to bring it up. Our room cost about the same as what a standard room at the Ritz would have cost but the service is nowhere close. I think I would have rather spent the money on better service rather than extra space. …

The Resort was fantastic! It had EVERYTHING you could ask for if you were a kid! A HUGE pool, hot tub, water slide, video game arcade, ping pong tables, top-of-the line workout gym... The only thing it lacked was the actual ROOMS. They were TINY (500 sq feet), and we were able to hear everything from a pin dropping in the room next to yours, to the rowdy drunk bachlorette party down the hall at 3 am. The food was fairly decent, and fairly priced in the Universal World (The iced coffee -with the extra caffeine, at the Dutch Trading Co. is AWESOME!). All in all, it was a fantastic trip- and we are looking forward to doing it again next year.

The water taxi was great to get to and from city walk / Universal. The lines were extremely long at the end of the night so it took a while to get back if you were there till around 9-10. The food was ok, gratuity was added to everything even if you went to the bar to get a drink yourself. We tried to order food at the bar at the pool and were told we might as well order it from our chairs so they would bring it to us. It took about an hour to get it, which was ridiculous. The pool was a little dirty and there were ducks swimming in it which was something I have never seen before. They were also strict about pool toys you could use, only beach balls were allowed, no other water balls. The beds were comfortable. The fridge was small and was in the dresser cabinet so it took away from drawer space and there was no microwave which would have been nice. Overall the hotel was nice, and the water taxi made getting to and from Universal pretty easy. …

Take advantage of the water taxi, it was awesome! Or you can walk to Catwalk and the parks, it's only about a 10-15 min. walk. Also take advantage of the early park admissions. We rode 3 or 4 rides before the park was opened for the general public. The pool was beautiful only wish I had more to enjoy it! Amatista Steakhouse inside the the hotel was delicious! We will definitely be back!!!

Ok hotel room, solid food, decent pool area, restaurant understaffed and food wait >2h Upon checkout, the hotel promised a receipt would be emailed. That was not the case, and you have to call a different number, go through several menu options and leave a message.

We are kind of hotel snobs and loved this hotel. Would definitely return. The lobby is huge and open. There is a spiral staircase in a cylindrical stone wall room that looks like something out of Harry Potter. The rooms are small but just enough. The roll away bed has a real mattress and is very comfy. We are a family of 5. The pool is a lot of fun with a large slide and beautiful full bars. The boat ride is quick and they come frequently. Walking to the park takes about 30 minutes but it is a garden walk. Friendly service with 24 hour room service, concierge and valet. We have stayed at the competitors nicest hotels. This hotel for the price is unbeatable. Restaurant was beautiful and yummy too.

Room is a little dated. Security serve is very slow. I locked my wallet in the room. I waited 45 min for the security to arrive. The front desk won’t replace a room card without a physical ID. They refuse to accept my ID copy in my phone.
