Famous for being "pet friendly" these folks allow dog owners to leave their poop everywhere on this small property. When nightfall hits, the hooked start roaming the street and open drug deals happen under streetlights. You may save a couple bucks by staying here, but itcould end up costing you a whole lot lore.

Thank you for your feedback, Badluck B. I am sorry that you encountered pet waste around the property during your stay and had a less than ideal experience. Being a pet friendly hotel, we do strongly encourage our guests to pick up after their pets and often tend to this ourselves as needed. The management, Shawna & one of the WORST front desk clerks I have EVER encountered at a hotel, Tatiana have no level of customer service. After a few guests & I were spending time in the "smoking area" we were told we could not be there for more than 15 minutes. Fine, we acquiesced, though there seemed to be no reason for the mandate. The straw that broke the camel's back was when we switched to a downgraded room, where the bed was broken & upon requesting another room were told we needed to take the next room offered to us OR LEAVE. We tried to speak with Tatiana, but she became angry citing they were short staffed that day & the information I was given by the manager 2 days before was incorrect. She then told us we "could take the room or leave". After that because she did not want to do her job, they asked us to leave the property & that they'd refund our booking costs, which has not happened. After speaking to other guests, they confirmed Tatiana was not friendly nor helpful, stating she didn't want to be bothered to do her job or help guests. FOR YOUR SAKE, DON'T STAY HERE. After I tried to approach Tatiana one more time staying we preferred a different room, she told me to "Skate bruh." COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Also, the area is horrific, surrounded by drug addicts & hookers. If you value your family, PLEASE read this & don't stay at this location!…

This is the worst hotel I have stayed in , in 30 years. Cockroaches, in the first room- , they switched us and compt the first night. But this kind of experience cannot be erased by 1 free night/ We could not move during the convention suitcases open and just to much of a waste of time- In the second room - broken toilet seat that took 3 days to get fixed- rusty crusty door frames, the place is a disaster. Do not stay here- I will also report to Red Roof Corporate and Hotels.com

Great service. Location right next to i4 so it’s easy to find. The front desk clerk was very kind and helpful. Security is on point at night, so it makes you feel at ease. The housekeeping is friendly and did not mind giving extra towels.

Book this hotel because of the convenience it offered my family and I. Being that the Florida Mall is within walking distance and great restaurants around. I made a mistake online getting my reservation under the wrong dates. I felt extremely embarrassed as I went inside to check-in. A front desk rep named Dashia (hopefully I'm spelling it right) relieved so much of my stress; I thought my family and I were not going to have anywhere to stay but fixed my issue with ease. We had the best laugh from it. I love to give reviews when you meet someone worth giving it to. Dashia, sweetheart if you can see this in any way you are doing an amazing job and God will bless you in so many ways.

We stayed here 5 years ago and it was ok as we really only spent sleeping there, this time it was no where near the standards so much so we checked out 8 days early it was that bad, the area at night is a real no go zone for females of any age, it is cheap to stay there yes but not for us !

We booked a King Room with Jacuzzi bath. The night before we stayed at the Red Roof near Icon Park, which is MUCH cleaner and nicer than this location and that isn't saying much. The area around this location is not a great area. There seemed to be a good amount of prostitutes working the street in front of the hotel. When walking to our room after check in, we noticed a good amount of people either sitting in their rooms with their doors open watching people walk by and a good amount of people sitting adjacent to the pool in a "smoking area", and yes-you have to walk through clouds of smoke to get to your room. Once in our room, we were immediately hit by the smell of smoke inside. (guess someone didn't make it to the smoking area) and a professional ozone machine set up running to remove smoke. The problem is, it clearly says operate only in unoccupied rooms but they left it running in our room without any care for their guests. We turned it off and had to suffer through the heavy smell. If the hotel thought that was strong enough odor to use machines, why did they rent the room out? The floor had not been cleaned. There was still urine stains on the floor from the last dog in the room. We took wet towels to clean the area and they just turned black with dirt. Really filthy. Like someone else said below, the dog walk was unusable because it had dog waste everywhere. If it wasn't for the fact that every hotel ended up being booked that weekend for a cheerleading competition, we would've left. So to sum it up...if you like hookers, dog waste, smoke and filth, you will love your stay. Otherwise, look to a different Red Roof. This is the worst one I have ever stayed in, and we use the brand frequently.…
