If you want a room that is not cleaned and next to a bar stay there.. If not... Stay away. Got in after Midnight and thought was a good place to stay since I'm a LA Quinta member.. I was wrong. I did ask for first floor if that was possible and they tried to accommodate me. First room didn't work and second room was ok when we walked in. Found out the bathroom still had previous person stuff in bath tub/shower. Both beds had hair all over them. We was tired and didn't want to really stay there. This is why I'm giving a bad review.
The hotel room smelled, stains on floor and not very well maintained. The hotel grounds are is dis repair. The staff was nice. The breakfast was good quality and clean. The La Quinta brand is not as quality to us as it was in the past.
We were told there was a shuttle to the airport but there was no shuttle available , bathtub faucet was leaking all night , which kept us awake for most of the night. We would not recommend this hotel and we wouldn’t stay here again.
My room was terrible! Mildew smell, roach in the bathroom, mold on the shower curtain, dirty tub, and chipped/broken amenities. I got a refund, but I could not et my loyalty points back that I used when purchasing the room.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stay away, it is horrible!!!!!!!! This place is nasty, poor service. It needs to be cleaned and remolded. We were only staying for one night. It was NOT at the airport. I should have chose a different hotel.
Well we were arriving late into the airport and wanted something close by for the night. Chose the LaQuinta because I’ve stayed at these before and had good luck. Well this hotel is older and in need of an update. It’s very run down and the owners need to put some money back into it as I’m sure they can get better clientele.
Everything was absolutely disgusting from the time we touched the room door (sticky) to entering and seeing how gross everthing from the stained, sticky carpet, to dirty bathroom. If we didn't arrive on such a late flight, I would have turned around and walked out. STAY AWAY!
When I see La Quinta, I was expecting a traditional hotel. This is a MOTEL and an old one at that. The kind where the entrances to the rooms are all on the outside and you have to go up stairs etc. and walk to your room. The rugs are disgusting, the elevator was broken. You had to walk through a labyrinth of filth to get to the room and up stairs (Elevator broken!). It was just really skeevy. The room was meh, but honestly after walking through all that filth, it was hard not to speculate about issues with the room. We had to be at the airport at 4am and we possibly would have grinded it out and sayted there if there was a shuttle, but we ended up eating the cost of the room (They wouldn't refund us, shocker!!)- and going to another hotel with a shuttle service. It was worth it. Blech!!!…
There's other options a mile or two away, if you can afford it and your travel allows for it stay somewhere else. While there are very nice workers it seems like the night manager is very argumentative and defensive if you have an issue. We stayed 2 nights when we got to orlando before our cruise and 1 night after before our flight. During our first stay their front desk worker gave someone else a key to our room during thier check-in. Thankfully it was a peaceful situation but a scary one none the less. On our second stay we were given a room with a non-working A/C unit and the night manager argued with us that it was working because it was blowing air and that "you can't feel it because the door is open" as she was standing there with the door open to check it. Thankfully the front desk worker moved us to another room and it was a night and day difference. The carpets in this place are very dirty in the rooms, we had cigarette holes in the comforter, just all in all it's not worthy of the La Quinta name or to be a part of the Wyndham properties. Skip this property and stay elsewhere. The only redeeming factors is that it's a $8 lyft to the airport. …
Don’t stay here. We booked through SW airlines when booking our airfare, and were informed we would have to go through SW to get a refund. The pictures online of this establishment are deceiving. The façade of the building is worn, dirty, and in disrepair. The lobby was nice and gave me hope. However, my first impression was correct. Our room smelled moldy. Black mold above the shower. Bathroom door didn’t shut. Toilet ran constantly, had to use the water valve to turn it on and off. Carpet was damp. Furnishings are worn and dated. They brought fresh towels the first morning, did not make the beds. I asked for an extra blanket, they were only able to provide extra sheets. Beds are lumpy and old. We initially asked for a different room but it was worse. Everything around was booked so we were stuck. Extremely disappointed. Location convenient. Water pressure good.…
