Upon our arrival, the desk clerk was new and kind of slow, but she was very courteous and professional. Our room was very clean and we appreciated that they had music channels on the TV within the room as most hotels do not have this. It is nice to listen to music when we are getting ready to head out. We stayed here as we went to the Monster Truck Jam at Camping World Stadium. We would definitely stay again; in the downtown area, and close to everything...
We stayed three nights here for a family event and were extremely pleased with both the comfort of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff. Good breakfast buffet including waffles and eggs, bacon, oatmeal, pastries, etc. The bed was extremely comfortable and while they don’t provide fresh towels every day you can pick up as many as you want from the front office. Didn’t use the pool but other family members did and said it was very good. They are extremely accommodating at the front desk; in fact, when I got there I realized that I had double booked a reservation and instead of charging me for the second one they just canceled it at no charge! It’s the perfect location if you need to be at Orlando regional medical center or if you just want somewhere central to downtown Orlando. Highly recommended!…
My last stay was the fourth time I’ve stayed here. The last two stays within the past 6 months. I will not stay here again. The real issue is clearly bad management in the form of inefficient, guest unfriendly policies and poor upkeep, Online check-in isn’t available. You check in but they won’t allow you a digital key because you have to get keys and a parking pass first. Except the drive up to the registration desk is short and backs up. Check-in is painfully slow. Last trip - 30 minutes. This trip 10 mins - and there was someone ahead of me and midway through check in. Did I mention that I checked in online? Room was worn down and dirty. 1) light over the vanity mirror didn’t work 2) carpet was stained in many places 3) carpet was torn 4) ceiling had large cracks and 4) the chair was worn through and unusable. Last time was a painfully slow check in. Add to it a poorly maintained room and I’ve stayed my last stay here. I’ll pay more and go elsewhere.…
We were very pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel is. It's one block away from the hospital so super convenient, too. Simone at the front desk was super helpful to us. All of the staff we encountered were friendly. Security seems good in that a room key is required to gain access to the floors. This is the nicest hampton we've stayed in, in a while. Highly recommended.
We loved this hotel. The front desk employees were super friendly and helpful. Especially Simone. Our room was spotless, comfortable and very spacious. We enjoyed the breakfast and everyone working in the morning were also very friendly. A great stay and we are already planning to stay here again for the next event.
I brought a team of 5 people to Orlando for a project and the first hotel we stayed at was horrible. It was very poorly cleaned and had many kids running up and down the halls, which was not great for us as we needed to get up early every day. I did pick this hotel as it was in the medical center, so I assumed it would be quieter which was correct, but it was also one of the nicest Hampton Inns I have seen. The hotel has been updated and the rooms are nice and clean. I found nothing wrong with the room or bathroom. The beds were soft and the water pressure and hot water were good. We did not eat breakfast in the hotel but saw plenty of people in the morning eating. The location is directly downtown and restaurants were not walkable, but a short car ride away. I would easily stay here again. Also, the front desk staff was great, especially Simone. She was a joy to talk to everyday.…
This hotel needs to offer discount pricing for hospital patients. It is located next ORMC they should offer some sort of pricing for this type of stay. I have many nights at this hotel, love it and the location.
As a former Hilton Hotel dept. manager, I can say that this GM and her team do a great job. Facility is clean, rooms are clean, and staff happy to help. When I come back, this is where I will stay. The free breakfast was according to corporate standards. Too low for me.
My sister-in-law and her son stayed during the hurricane. He had to have power and she guessed correctly that the power would remain on due to hotels location near the medical center. She had to extend her stay and Nicole and Kristina at the front desk were great. Henry the maintenance man was always friendly and helpful.
This is our go to hotel when we visit our This is our co-to hotel when we are visiting our son in downtown Orlando always is clean breakfast is always stocked and we have never had a problem problem thank you Hampton Inn
