Hi, I have never in my 50 years have experience such inconsiderate behavior of a hotel staff...we waited for an hour for someone to come to the front desk to assist us in checking in with our reservation...and we were not along...not only was there no staff to assist us, there was no one to reach out for assistance...I had to call the reservation number to get assistance to cancel this reservation...in the process of being on the phone to cancel the reservation...I was attempting to call the front desk for help and the female who answered the phone had the nerves to hang up in my face...I called back to make that is what she did and she had the nerve to state that she was away from the front desk for over an hour assisting other guests...if she was she was not assisting the ones who was there 30 mins prior to us arriving at the hotel nor us....please explain how we are supposed to stay at hotel that does not care for their guests or their well-being...before I was able to get any assistance regarding this issue I was in the process of making my way back to Jacksonville...it is now 11:30 and the nasty front desk person just got back to the front desk...This is unacceptable...My Reservation should be canceled without hesitation or charge for the inconvenience and the nastiness attitude of the front desk person...…

Every time I come to Palatka I stay here…the beds are comfortable and I get a good nights sleep…only issue was cosmetic. There was a hole in the wall other than that …everything was great. Also they have breakfast

Stayed there for a few days checked in the lady at the desk was nice her name was Jolene but went to first room looked like bathroom was not cleaned asked for another room went to that room someone wrote on ice bucket wash me was there for two days it was still there than in the morning the cleaning lady was arguing with a visitor an they was going to fight each other

This is a Pet friendly hotel! It is a nice, clean hotel. It has very friendly staff. It is a safe place to stay. With reasonable prices during spring break. It is close to lots of stuff to do. I appreciated the stay!

Check in was good, but down hill from there. When we get to the room we turned the tv on it did not work, called the desk they said they would have someone to look at it. We stayed two days and no one repaired or replaced it. Wife goes to dry her hair no hair dryer? Talk to the desk they said oh we have to get permission from the manager. The last issue was the black mold growing in the shower. Sorry, I did not mention the breakfast the worst one in my travels, waffle maker with no syrup, hot breakfast was the cheapest tasting stuff.

This hotel needs a lot of work. Lobby area looks messy and tiles are stained or dirty. Hallway carpeting needs to be replaced. Although our room was quiet it needed work in the bathroom and the lighting was insufficient. Lamps showed signs of corrosion and the shades were dingy. Paint job must be recent and some made it to the floor of the bathroom. Given the quality of most Choice hotels this one fell far short. The only saving grace was convenience and a friendly staff.

First room for us had broken door lock. Next room had broken shower curtain rod, carpet smelled of urine, missing light bulb in bathroom, missing tile in bathroom along with no drain stopper and no kleenex. Room had odd vibration in walls. Beds were comfortable and supposedly clean. Staff was very friendly and as helpful as possible. I would think that someone would check rooms before guests arrive. Emails confirming confirmation were in Spanish??

One of my worst hotel experiences ever. The sink was stopped up and the toilet seat was about to fall off. The front desk lady told me there was no maintenance man. 3 of the light bulbs were burned out but they gave me replacements, 2 of which worked. There was mildew on the curtains at the air conditioner. Best of all, we went down to brkfst and there was none...not even coffee!! I asked the young lady what happened to btkfst and she said "nobody showed up for work". Lots of stains on the carpet, easy chair and bed spreads. Never again!
