Facility has obviously been updated in recent times. Great location right on the river and not far from St Augustine. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. Complimentary hot breakfast a bonus.

Hotel's Favourite
We stayed here for one night on our way to Florida, because it was pet friendly. They have an area for your pet to go do its business, and provide the waste bags as well. I’llIt’s also located on St. John’s River which is a bonus and a wonderful experience. It’s been updated, has no carpet, An on-site restaurant which is fantastic, breakfast as expected the next morning, and service was friendly. It’s extremely comfortable and linens were clean and newish. The sheets were extremely soft, felt like bamboo sheets. We will definitely stay here again and we recommend if you need a decent place with a decent price, you will not regret this location.

The photos on the web site sure make it look nice, and to be honest the location on the river is nice, but that is were it ends. I started not feeling well while I was there, a friend suggested I check the Air Condition filters, I did, they were filthy, clearly had no been cleaned in years, then there were the bugs covering the bathroom vanity & desk, I was there for work so using the desk was necessary. I was told they had housekeeping every day, I would have been fine with every couple of days, but as it turned out I had no housekeeping for 8 days, and even when I asked and was told that they would clean it that day, nobody came. Had to ask again the next day before anyone came. But all of the above issues pale in comparison to the billing. I was there on a work rate of $98 per night. According to the manager there was a "glitch" and I was being charged $999.00, and although the manager knew this she choose not to tell me and I found out with a credit alert from Experian. Not the best customer service, she told me it was not their fault and that she corrected it. She did not think I should worry about it, easy for her to say, she is not responsible for my credit card bill, nor does she return this mess of a receipt into her company expense reports. She also mentioned that this must be hard for people who live paycheck to paycheck to deal with? What the heck? What was she implying there? I'm on a business trip and just want a proper receipt and all of the sudden she is making a judgement about me because I don't enjoy being charged $999.00 a night!? Good grief. My advice is go across the Hampton Inn or down the street to the Best Western, but stay far, far away from this hot mess.

Positives include the clean and modern lobby and that there is a Beef O'Bradys Restaurant in the hotel. The view of the river from the restaurant and the separate breakfast area was very nice. The breakfast was the typical mediocre scrambled eggs, sausage, and bacon. There were other menu items as well - that's good. The sausage gravy was tasty but the biscuits were stale. The room was clean and everything worked. The only yuck factor was a couple of dark spots on the tub grout. The room was quiet - the walls were solid block. The outside areas of the hotel - especially the parking lot was dirty and dingy. I stayed here because it had a lower rate than some other properties nearby and I got what I paid for - a budget hotel.

The good: Room we ended up in had a comfortable bed, a good shower, was quiet and cool. Ample parking. Nice grounds and location. The bad: When booking, I had included a note explaining my wife had limited mobility and we were traveling with her service animal. On checking in I was asked multiple questions about my wife’s service animal, the service it provided (it is for PTSD and extreme anxiety, we had a letter from the doctor confirming this). This was the first time that anybody has questioned the purpose of my wife’s service animal in such a way. We were assigned a King Suite on the first floor of the second building. There was no elevator however we managed to get up the stairs and to the room. In the room, we found wallpaper hanging from the ceiling and somebody’s hair in the refrigerator. I returned to the reception and requested a room change, when asked why I showed a picture of the peeling paper and also pointed out that my wife had a disability that meant the stairs were difficult. The picture was dismissed and a debate about there being different types of disability followed. Again, a first. Eventually the receptionist reviewed the note I had included with the booking, agreed that I had mentioned the type of disability she has and then gave us a different room on the ground floor. The receptionist did redeem herself later by contacting me to let me know I’d left my credit card behind, for which I was grateful.

On a road trip, with my husband and dog, passing thru and came across this little hidden gem. Staff was super friendly. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Great view of the St Johns River. Excellent restaurant. So relaxing for all. I would definitely recommend this place to stay at.

We stayed here on our way down to Orlando- everything was booked due to spring break. This hotel is so interesting because it is right on the river which creates a kind of unique/cool setting but not enough to make up for downfalls. Check in took forever, there was someone arguing in the lobby with an employee- almost like they lived at the hotel of something? It is dirty - I wish I would have taken more pictures but there were literally large stains on the carpet which has probably never been replaced or cleaned well. Stains on the sheets, bathroom paint peeling, and for some reason there was shredded cheese in one of the drawers. It’s one of those hotel rooms you don’t feel comfortable sleeping in for fear of bugs. We woke up to someone throwing glass bottles outside our room & people arguing the next morning. Someone’s car was vandalized over night. I don’t know if this was a rough area or what but it was just very junky feeling. We would never stay here again.

This is the second time I stay at this hotel with my wife and kids when we come into town to visit family. I have no complaints, I actually love the accommodations and the space in the rooms, they are very big with plenty of space. The beds and pillows are awesome. The breakfast is plentiful and very delicious. The staff are the best with exceptional customer service. I will continue staying at this same location whenever I’m in town. It has an awesome view of the bridge and the river with plenty of places to eat nearby and the hotel does have an awesome restaurant. Will be back soon.

We stayed here one night. We found it modest and clean. Our room had a nice view of the riverfront, but couldn't enjoy it that night due to weather. We could hear noise from room next door, but they quieted down as the night wore on.

You almost always know what you're getting with a Quality Inn. The one was generally clean (didn't like the roach that showed up on the night stand! but he appeared to be an isolated event). The check-in was easy and the staff friendly. Pictures online are accurate. Did not use the breakfast. Free WiFi. Ask for a room facing the water, otherwise, you're looking at a parking lot. Disappointed that it was otherwise isolated and not very walkable for restaurants, etc.
