On day 4/7 with No hot water at all! Unable to shower in 3 days. Washing face & hands with cold water 😭😭😭 same for the others in this section. Spoke with guests in another section who’ve had no problem with hot water. Victoria from the front desk states “we can’t move you to another room and we can’t refund you if you leave” when I stated I need to go to a hotel where there is hot water. It’s awful they won’t accommodate a paying customer or give a refund (I paid for a week) for the remainder of the week. When I checked in they did not ask if I wanted a room with or without hot water 🤷♀️🤦♀️ they obviously know there is no hot water in this section. Others I spoke with stated they’ve been reporting it for over a week! They keep saying it’s being worked on… that’s a lie. You can bet the attorney generals office, BBB and any other necessary entity will be sent a copy of the email I sent to the district manager along with a letter of complaint. I encourage others to do the same. If you are in the area, keep driving, there’s better places up the road who charge the same.…
stayed here january 2022. while in my room with extra bolt on the door someone partially opened my door without any knock or anouncement. When going to the door to see who had just attempted unorthorized entry into my room, noone was there. 1. When confronting the front desk person, He stated "i haven't recently given out any keys. Only 3 people have keys on the property. I dont know".. (who tried to enter your room. 2. When confronting the maintenance person, he stated he tried to get into #(...) which was a completely different room than mine and located on a different wing of the buildings. He was seen walking around different floors on the property and never admitted trying to enter my room. 3. The housekeeping person was also on a completely different wing working in a room at the time. In conclusion this place is rated F by the Better Business Bureau and now i know why. I would highly suggest that noone stay here if u value your possessions and possibly your life especially if people are randomly trying to enter an occupied room and never owning up to it if it was in fact an error...…
My husband and our crew was staying at this hotel for 3 weeks because we were doing a job close by. During that 3 week time we had to extend our original stay 2 times. Since we forgot it was the day to check out and we forgot to extend the stay again they threw out our luggage and even threw one set of luggage in the dumpster. They stole several items out of each of our guys personal belongings. Totaling $300.00. Of course the hotel is stating they know nothing about this. Even when confronting the cleaning crew that we personal saw cleaning the rooms they denied stealing anything. While walking to the dumpster to throw away the luggage they walked past our $85,000 truck and our $15,000 trailer that was still parked in the parking lot. Which the hotel was very aware that was ours. When we confronted them they stated they didn’t have our phone number to call us. They were given our phone number from day one! Front desk said they didn’t write down our area code. They had our credit card on file. While staying there for 3 weeks they never changed the bed sheets or would give new towels. When we asked them if they could change the sheets they stated due to Covid they couldn’t. But then we were told from the cleaning staff that wasn’t the case. The reason they wouldn’t change our sheets was because they didn’t have enough linens. After 10 days we demanded for them to change the sheets and they finally did. The only reason why I booked this hotel was because they stated this was a family owned hotel. Since my husband and I own a small business we want to support a small business. With our company we travel a lot. In 20 years of traveling and staying at multiple hotel chains for long periods of time for our work we have NEVER dealt with anything like this!!!!!…
Stayed one night October 23-24 2021. Couldn’t have picked a better place to spend the night. Room was great, very clean and especially liked the tile floor, as pet room carpeting can be pretty gross. Location was perfect as was the included continental breakfast. Will definitely be our place to stay again when visiting Tarpon Springs Dawn
The evening front desk gentleman Michael went out of his way to help with an elderly couple I booked here. He kept an eye out for them while he was on duty and was very respectful and courteous. He deserves a raise.
It seems like a lot of the more recent reviews are negative, and I don't see why. I like the place a lot. Check in was fast and easy. My room was clean and comfortable. My private shaded balcony overlooking the boat slips was just spectacular. Parking was readily available. The morning breakfast was not overwhelming, but better than others i've had on recent trips. Only two negatives......Route 19 is a VERY BUSY highway.....I took my life into my own hands trying to turn into this property from the north. There is nothing that can be done about it.....just beware. And it is just a little weird that there are full time residents living there.......I had NO problems with them, it just was awkward. But overall a beautiful location and a nice place. I recommend it, especially for the price.…
Great place! My husband and stayed at Airbnb's home and at a different hotel before staying at this hotel with our dog I wished I would booked this place first instead Airbnb etc, Michael was very friendly helped us booked a room along with our dog. Reasonable price couldn't ask for more. Very happy with a nice balcony
Andrew works at night and on the Thursday night we are there a man is threatening suicide screaming .. call front desk, no answer, people are at the pool all night. Next night my daughter comes up and we are hanging at the hot tub just chatting and Andrew comes out and begins barking orders at us like we had just trespassed in his back yard. There are no signs up when pool is open or closed, but Andrew with arms crossed barks that "you signed a piece of paper!!" ... total disrespect to a father with 4 of his children just chillin out and talking quietly. The manager the next morning, Zoe, she was of no real help.. acted like she didn't want her front desk disrespected but had no issue with her night guy acting like a jerk. Terrible place to stay ... just bypass on this one.
Just checked in. The website and the pictures of the place were a total lie. The floor is sticky and it smells off. The hallways look like they’ve never been cleaned and the elevator seems like it’s about to fall out. DO NOT book here. It is repulsive and a shame.
Unbelievable! After long road trip booked here for some rest. Hampton Inn recommended Vista as pet friendly. Room 327 was dingy, curtain filthy, dust on headboard & lamps, all mirrors dirty, sink & bath had personal hairs, sink was held together with tape, bath control was full of black mold, balcony was dirty & covered in dead bugs, white socks were black after walking on filthy tile. Room had awful smell & had been heavily sprayed. Tried to move to cleaner room (331) but could not due to swarms of mosquitos all over door, ceiling, walls, in stairwells—thousands! Then elevator stopped working & door would not open. We were stuck in there (no ac or fan)for about 4 mins with dozens of mosquitos, filthy floor/walls and urine-like odor. We gave up & stayed in dirty, dingy room because it was late & other lodging was at least 30 mins out. Were unable to use shower due to mold. Both had allergic reaction to room spray/odors/dust. Furniture was so scary we could not sit on it. We have a small dog so this was a ‘pet room’. He will need a bath after exposure to this facility. In all our travels we have never had such a filthy, dingy room. Outdated is one thing but unclean is another. And hire a bloody exterminator too!…
