The location gets a 10 plus, plus. But to use the beach lounge chairs two of them attached to an umbrella they charge you $40 a day. Unheard of ridiculous and we paid it. We rented a studio and it needs a face lift. furniture...More
I booked a trip to stay from 8/3-8/6 at the Shores. All the pictures look beautiful and I had seen some negative reviews about parking and elevators but nothing else. We had two couples staying and no children. At almost midnight one night "rent a...More
Overall it is a good place to stay. The kids loved the outside pool. The built of the facilities makes it easy to go from the beach to the pool and vice versa. My husband and older son liked the 2 gyms available to guest....More
Stayed here for a week, parking garage is a pain. The pool is awesome and very clean, pool concessions never opened on time and they never had anything that was listed on the menu. Great location with great beachfront access, not to far to walk...More

They are a family friendly resort. The owners recently took over the operation of the entire building from the bulk buyer and they are working really hard to get things corrected. They increased security and have a zero tolerance for the young out of control crowds. They were putting out new furniture, have added kids activities and increased security. SOP will be very family friendly for July 4th. Just rent direct from an owner and avoid management companies. Hope this helps.
