We had such a great stay in Pensacola and all the better for the unexpectedness of it all. We had originally intended to stop in Destin but didn’t much like the look of it so carried on down the road. Luckily I had a guide book which mentioned this brilliant refurbished 1950s motel right in the centre of the city. The bars and restaurants are all within easy walking distance so very convenient for the travel weary driver, and it meant having a drink without worrying. The rooms aren’t huge but the bed was super comfortable, it’s spotlessly clean and we arrived just in time for beer, wine and snacks in the lobby. Breakfast is pretty much a grab and go but everything was available for you, again in the lobby. Yogurts, energy bars, tea and coffee etc. It’s great value and we can’t recommend it more highly - in fact it’s one of the favourite stops along our long road trip.

What a good find! Convenient location to explore historic downtown. Walkable to several restaurants and bars. I really appreciate the people who have the foresight to buy these older properties and retrofit the rooms for today’s standards. Yes, it is a small room and bathroom, but well laid out so it’s not uncomfortable. The king size bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had been redone. Nice glass sink and a pretty tiled shower. Friendly help at the front desk.

I LOVED this hotel! All of the staff was so friendly and helpful! The whole place has an art deco vibe.
We stayed four nights and we will definitely be back!
Sole’ is a short drive to Pensacola beach and about a 45 minutes drive to gorgeous Navarre beach.
Sole’ is with in walking distance of all of old town Pensacola. Many wonderful places to eat in old town.
Our favorite place to eat was the Fish-house just off of Main Street.

My family and I booked the hotel for the weekend. We arrived to find out there are far less parking spaces than rooms. After having to find a place to park where we wouldn't be ticketed and/or towed, our room turned out to be extremely small. The bathroom and shower were extremely small. The shower head (not exaggerating) was only about 5 ft from the floor. The beds left us in pain. We checked out early after one night and booked with Days Inn where we had an excellent experience. I've had some really bad hotel stays, but this is the first time I have ever checked out early.

I am very sorry to hear your experience was less than you expected at Sole' . We work hard to maintain our guest satisfaction and are not happy when a guest does not enjoy our hotel. From reading your review, I'm not sure there would have been much we could have done to make your disappointments much better, such as the parking situation or the size of the rooms. Please accept my apology for this. I fully trust you reported your issues to the appropriate person and was given a full refund. Thanks for your feedback.

This was not our first stay at Sole Inn. We have met other couples there and recommended it to people. Our first visit after being vaccinated was uniformly bad.
The lack of light in the room was the worst_- we only had 2 dim bulbs to light an entire room. We could not see inside our suitcase or train case. Thank goodness we had a flashlight in the car. We called the desk for help but were told they had no stronger light bulbs. We could see that other rooms had at least 3 lamps. There were at least 5 or 6 other things that were just unacceptable. I am convinced that we had the worst room in the building. I have recommended Sole Inn to many people- never again!

This hotel's location is excellent for walking to nearby bars, restaurants and parks. It is very clean and very well maintained. There is a center courtyard with a nice water feature and comfortable seating for enjoying the Florida sunshine. Our room (#204) had one king bed. It is a smallish room but very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly, personable and helpful. The only minor improvement we could suggest is perhaps have a couple of fresh food options for breakfast. The lobby coffee is very tasty and fresh. All in all we are very pleased and would book here again.

Firstly The Staff, everyone was so accommodating, welcoming and If I asked for anything it was done with a smile and maximum efficiency. The housekeeping staff made me feel as if I was at a 5 star hotel, the cleanliness was top notch. Round the clock coffee, bottled water and tea. Evening snacks and beverages where a definite plus. The fountain and patio seating area was beautifully kept and clean. Proximity to all the downtown restaurants, bars and local attractions was a big plus as well. Huge shout out to the GM Mike and the night manager Justin for making our trip memorable and their recommendations were always accepted and enjoyed our stay so much more due to the local knowledge. Thanks again guys!!!!! See y’all soon!!!

First off, the inn is nicely located. A few minutes walk down Polafax gets one to a couple of the better Pensacola restaurants and to quite an upscale gourmet coffee shop. There are other various price point places.
The inn is comfortably decorated; rooms are decent size. The inn is fine for a couple of nights, not long stay. For example, unlit closet, pedestal sink but nice cabinet for storage. No grab bar in shower. Parking onsite. Breakfast perfunctory, happy hours nice for snacks and wine.
Fun redo of a 70s or so motel. Nice space with fountain for outdoor seating
