I stayed two nights at the Holiday Inn on Davis Hwy at I-10. The stay started out well with a spacious, quiet king suite. The room was clean as well. Initially staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was free since I am a Diamond IHG Rewards member. The breakfast was the quality of a Holiday Inn Express breakfast though and is not something I would have considered paying for. The stay tanked on the last day. I had requested a 1 pm check out at the front desk on arrival and been told they could do that. The guy had added it to my record. Just before 11 am, housekeeping pounds on my door telling me it’s check-out time. I told them I requested a late check out. The lady said she had no record of it and said she’d give me until 12 pm. She was very rude in her mannerisms as well. I was working remotely at the hotel and had to drop everything to pack up and find another location to finish up my work. It was extremely inconvenient. The biggest problem I have with this situation is the manager had previously approved it and without warning yanked it away. If IHG hotels cannot honor their word on late check-out, they need to quit touting it as a benefit. As someone who comes to Pensacola for work and leisure often, I will not be staying at this hotel again.…
I had a umpire training clinic at University of west Florida, Holiday Inn on North Davis Drive. 3 miles from college and plenty of restaurants to choose from on North Davis. Room was very large clean and comfortable, desk attendees very helpful friendly and courteous. had to check out a day early than reservation listed, I booked through Priceline a third-party. Chris at the desk on dayshift was very helpful in contacting Priceline to back out the charge. His customer service was very helpful and an asset to this Holiday Inn. Gary
We have stayed at this hotel recently while on a long drive. I just wanted to take a moment to recommend this hotel. The property is clean, well maintained, the staff is friendly and breakfast is yummy too! The staff is friendly and takes good care of you. Great place to stay in Pensacola!
She is the only reason I show up at this bar, amazing bartender and amazing service, knows what I like, very friendly prompt service and makes the best drinks in Escambia County. So lucky to have her so close
Hotel obviously not well managed. After driving 9 hours we arrived at this hotel at 8:30 pm. Upon arrival, reception was not busy and we were ignored while the two people behind the desk carried on their own conversation. At check in we never received a greeting, information of our room location, elevator, WiFi, breakfast. We asked for later check out and were given from 11 to 12. The funeral we were attending was not until 3. Breakfast is $12. At $400 a night, breakfast should have been free. I asked for the manager and was told she did not come in until 3. The room was ok, but not $400 a night. The hotel lobby was a mess: screaming kids, dogs and people laying around all over the furniture. Actually, I felt some people there were not paying guest. Not a good atmosphere. This hotel could use some customer service training.…
We checked into the wrong hotel that turned into the right hotel. We were at the wrong Holiday Inn but thought this was the one we booked and the one we wanted to stay at. The manager was at the counter and fixed the reservation for me. We were given a beautiful room and this hotel offered all the services we wanted. It was very impressive. Clean room, comfortable bed, plenty of parking and good location.. this hotel has it all and does it with a smile.
The hotel was clean, which is always biggest deal for me. Staff checked me in fast and I was in room in no time. Parking was good. If you are looking for a convenient, clean place with friendly staff that you can stay at in the area, this is a great option. Only issue is they ned to start bringing back normal breakfasts already and stop feeding into the hysteria. It only caters to people liek the person below. To the person that is whining about no masks, its not a law, its a mandate. Plus the governor said its not necessary. If you are so concerned about it stay home and don't leave your house until no one ever gets sick. It's over 99% Recovery, you have more chance getting in a car accident down the road. Stay home if you are scared, you have no business in public. Always someone like that who has no life getting off on trying to scold others to try and make themselves feel better. Pitiful…
Stayed here twice. Signs everywhere about mandatory masks but very lax staff regarding wearing masks. Dont advertise if you dont follow. And hallway hoise is terrible. Room was nice. Clean but no identifying notes of following any safety cleaning. Wait until things calm down if you want to stay here.
My stay at Holiday Inn was wonderful. Pleasant staff and environment. Extremely clean. Perfect for families. I would recommend this hotel with very high regards. Also, there is a restaurant and bar in the hotel. Which is perfect perfect for couples and families.
The staff was more than accommodating for making our visit a great experience !!! Vivian made the parents and coaches evening of unwinding from a long day of baseball very enjoyable!!! Pelicans will definitely be back!!!
