We were on a road trip toward the Keys and determined that Pensacola would be our overnight stay. Jumped on Expedia and found this hotel for 122.00 a night! The bed was fantastic and the hotel was very historic having been an old railroad depot in its former life. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

We normally stay at the chains when on the road. But sometimes staying at a hotel that offers a thread of history to the city is worth it. This hotel dating back to 1912 is just that. The high ceilings, and magnificent wood work gives you a sense of what hotels used to be. Very clean and comfortable and friendly...

The lobby is lovely, the staff is gracious and welcoming, the rooms were clean and restful. Unfortunately, the walls are paper thin. The first night, our neighbors came in at 3:30, and we could hear every sound they made- and they were up and talking and um, doing other stuff, for quite a while. The next night at 12:30 after...

We read some not so good reviews about this place and I was concerned. But, honestly, the staff were great and the hotel provide us with two nights of very comfortable accommodation. We did ask for a room higher up and on the south side and that is what we received. It is true that the walls are thin and...

I really wanted to like the hotel. I love historic type hotels like this and this one really stood out. If it weren't for the frequent trains screaming screeching and rumbling this would have been 4 stars and would have scored 5 if the beds werent so hard. If you opt to stay here, understand that you will not sleep...

Thank you for your feedback. We would like to apologize for the inconvenience. However, the hotel is located in the Historic L&N Train Depot, so now there is a freight train that runs behind the hotel. But we do thank you for staying with us.

Pensacola Grand Hotel is a historic hotel nestled between a major highway and a railroad station in historic downtown Pensacola. It is within walking distance (across the street) from the Pensacola Bay Center. The front desk staff was quick, helpful and extremely friendly. This place has potential, but unfortunately has too many shortcomings for me to consider staying here again....

First, we would like to thank you for your feedback, it is appreciated. However, we do have 24 hour security at the hotel. Safety for our guests is a priority of ours. We are aware of the "Permanently Closed" status on Google. Yes we were a Crowne Plaza as an IHG property and now we are independently the Pensacola Grand...

Ask for a room on the side away from the train tracks - you get a lovely view of the convention centre and the sea. Everything about the hotel was great except that breakfast isn't included. The lobby area has beautiful antique lighting and a lovely clock. Everything was clean and very comfortable. Had no problem with noisy neighbours nor...

Make sure you stay on the side of the Hotel opposite the train tracks, which gives you a view out past the convention center and the water. The lobby being the actual old train station is charming and fun. Staff was super helpful! thank you!

I try to provide honest and well rounded reviews. This hotel should never have received a high rating from a anyone. 1) Loud. Nestled in between an interstate and heavily used railroad tracks. Trains at all hours, whistles blowing. Trucks, cars and all other continuous loud sounds 2) Loud. Adjoining rooms have no sound buffer. 2 of our 3 nights...
