The location is great close to many entertainment opportunities. This Residence Inn has amazing staff, Emely at front desk and Lisa in breakfast area are wonderful. You will feel appreciated when at this location.
Did a quick stop here while I was in town for business. It is very convenient to walk downtown and close by the Pensacola Beaches. The staff was super nice. Breakfast was nothing special but not bad. My only issue is that the curtains only cut down some of the light as there is no cornice board so I still got a lot of street lamps light in the room, but that wasn't as bad as the smoke alarm and some other device that were bright. It is a decent place to stay if you are in town.
You can't beat the location. Take I-110 to the end and you're on Chase St, and a couple of blocks from the hotel. However, the best part of the location is that you have McGuire's Irish Pub right across the street (a two-minute walk and a "must" if you want a good dinner) and you're back-to-Back to "Another Broken Egg" for an amazing breakfast. The hotel has a "bistro" but you pay for everything. Two Starbuck's regular coffee cost me $5.19, for the smallest size. The room was clean and quiet, so there are no complaints there. The ladies behind the desk were very friendly. Our check-in, check-out, and room key were all done with the Bonvoy app on my phone (a must if you regularly use Marriott hotels). Overall, the hotel, the lobby, and the room were very good and I would definitely stay here again.…
Marriott needs to seriously review the behavior and attitude of the Manager Orlando. There is a proper way to address customers and apparently Orlando was out on the day that this training was provided. Our family stays exclusively at Marriott properties and we have never been treated so poorly. Go stay at the Fairfield Inn, the management knows how to treat people.
My family of 4 stayed here n we had a one bedroom suite. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was very clean. We enjoyed the outdoor pool as well as the outdoor basketball court while we were there. The hotel is located very close to the bridge that takes you into Pensacola Beach and has a few food options that are within walking distance (Starbucks, Jimmy John’s, Whataburger and Nothing Bundt Cakes) and you can be to a variety of other places including a grocery store working a few minutes drive. Overall we were very pleased with our one day stay here and would recommended it and stay here again.
Like to go back again if the bridge is open that takes you to beach. They are still serving food in boxes but give you big portion. Close to highway and Airport. Rooms are specious and clean, gym is small but nice equipment.
I’m giving this property a two star review because of how upset I am right now. It would be a one star review if the staff members had not tried so hard to make it right. I stayed in this hotel two different nights for work. I was really looking forward to this business trip because I have a toddler at home - and any of you who have a busybody toddler who wants attention 24/7 can understand how hard it is to have a moment to yourself. I honestly cannot recall the last time I felt calm enough to sit and watch Netflix. Well, I told my husband my dream vacation would be lying in a hotel bed watching Netflix. The first night I stayed in this hotel, room 115 had a completely broken TV. Wouldn’t even do anything other than play static. I didn’t worry too much about it because I knew I would be back two nights later (my work trip had me in two different cities over 3 nights so my stay in this property was split by a day). When I came back, I was in room 327. Once again, although the TV didn’t have static, it would not play any TV channels or Netflix or Amazon Prime Video or HBO. I called and asked for it to be fixed and while I was out at dinner, the maintenance man fixed it for TV channels, but not Netflix. I called again and he came back while I was in the room and took about 10-15 minutes to reset the TV. I am overly upset about this because I feel like I’ve waited soooo long for this opportunity, only to have it impeded by a stupid thing as two TVs that were not ready for guests. Some people come to Pensacola to spring break and party on the beach. I came here to do some work but also hopefully to veg out and enjoy this super-rare opportunity to just lie down and watch some Netflix shows. Although the problem was fixed the second night (I didn’t bother saying anything about the first night), I’m just upset at how this all went down. It’s the little details that keep guests happy and I appreciate the staff making an effort but I am having to give this two star review. See photo evidence below.…
We stayed here with our dog on New Year’s Eve. We were just passing through town and chose this hotel based on Bring Fido recommendations. We stayed in a king studio on the ground floor (128). The room was great and right next to the exit for easy access. The trade off for this is that people traverse through the door all evening and the door is not soft closing. It didn’t bother us, but occasionally made our dog bark briefly, which we were concerned would bother others. Of note, it was raining and the rain gutters outside the room windows are quite noisy with the run off hitting the drain coverings between the ground and first floor. Again, not an issue for us but could be for light sleepers. The room was great otherwise. Comfy bed, large shower, clean and spacious. Concierge staff are really friendly, easy check in and check out. Hot breakfast to go available. We only had bagels but the lady who prepared them was lovely also. As per other comments, $100 pet fee regardless of length of stay. Again, happy to pay to stay with our dog in a nice place, which this was. Would definitely stay again. …
This was my first time staying at a Residence Inn and loved it! We had a 1 bedroom suite. Even though we only stayed there one night, it was so nice having the living room and kitchen. It was very quiet and comfortable, we never heard any other guests. The whole hotel was super clean. Paula at check-in was so nice and helpful. I really loved how they are still doing hot breakfast during covid. You just tell them what you want and they dish it out for you. 100% recommend this hotel to others!
Great location and nice big roomy room with kitchen and bar. Big bed and Wide screen TV. I was given the room i requested...on the end of a hallway. My traveling companion for 3792 miles liked the room too. Close to exit door and ramp. Pua is a very persnickety pig...that likes things just right. Plenty of nearby grass and grounds to roam on. What he didn’t like was the 100$ pet fee they charged for him after we left.
